STO didnt fail andit hasnt. So yea I agree your no prophet. And those two games are the best single player games ive ever played and a majority of gamers agree. However they are not tor and they are no mmos. Therefore you cannot compare them to tor. Which has not yet been released.
The games are nothing alike other than dialog
Well, you might like it, but the ratings and all the posts in the STO forums tell me something quite different. It might have been a success for you, but undoubdtly the overall feeling amongst the MMO community is that:

Not to even start to list all the reasons that you have no clue what you are talking about and there are many, let's just say you are comparing single player games to a multiplayer game that doesn't even exist yet. With your own logic , they should have aborted you because they would have known to expect that you would be an idiot based on your lineage.
I dont like Bethesda and Bioware because I'm from Slovakia. That pretty much summarizes what you're saying here.
No, because you are European. You were the one that can't conjure a single American/Canadian RPG of the past 5+ years as something worthwhile, and it's the exact same front the Japanese put up over their own games being better. Maybe I am generalizing a bit, but something tells me this is at least a fraction of the story in your case. It's no different from western gamers who hate JRPGs or Korean MMOs because of base expectations... like the expectations that any Bethesda/Bioware game is not going to be that good.
~but if so many people agree they shovel out AAA games, the only reason you couldn't at least see some redeeming value is because you see it as "American-style games", and you despise that. The kind that favors action over story (supposedly).
I know I don't have a right to gauge and judge people like this, but c'mon, we both know the root of this.

No. The Secret World is that last hope for this genre. Certainly not SW-TOR. That is absolutely the last thing this genre need; another closed themepark MMO.
After reading what I did, I actually have to claim that World of Darkness is our last hope. It claims that it will have a huge social aspect, less grinding, still be a viable MMORPG and is being created by the makers of one of the more hardcore MMOs available currently.
Aimed at a feminine audience or not, you have to agree that the concept behind it does raise an eyebrow.

It's not because they are better, it's because the "home team" is behind it. It's a huge reason as to why European MMOs such as AoC, Darkfall and MO have nearly 2-3x the presence of European players to Americans when they have the same amount of hype on both sides of the pond. Americans are guilty of it too, and that's why Bioware and Bethesda keep getting brought up, it's really all we know about when it comes to RPGs outside of Japan.
I for one like Lionhead back when they made interesting games, perhaps even more when they were Bullfrog.
Not what I referred to as I give a good damn BS in that. I just dont like to see patriotism comparisons, especially when they are so wrong as you did earlier.

There's two type of RPG fans, one that love bioware and others that love bethesda. STO in your opinion failed and ME2 in your opinion isn't a good game but i believe both those games are awesome, why? because i have a different opinion. Did you just say FO3 better story? FO3 has the worst story of ever game I can think of right now.
FO3 was a horrible, horrible, dull game, horrible... It was like Far Cry 2. Mobs with constant difficulty is good for FPS, not for RPG (infame level scaling in FO3), Incredible dialogues with the silly zoom in camera, there was like 4 different voice actors. Quests uninspiring, extremly poor story, terrible dialogues, catastrophic console-style interface, ... all in all I would say FO3 is one of the worst FPS games of the 21st century. And don't try to convince me it's an RPG.
Like all Fallout games, the side stories eclipsed the main plot. Same thing with Elder Scrolls games, so not only is this a trend of FO games, but Bethesda games in general. I admit the daddy plot was weak, but that's not what I was really getting at.
The republic of Dave, The "Gary's", all the little things were the shit. Much like how New Reno, Redding, etc are faaaaar more interesting than "150 days to save the tribe / water chip". I think it's ironic that reality check is your sig. FO3 is one of the top rated games of all time. You seriously dumbed down the storyline and didn't even get it all right. You forgot what happened after you find your dad. It went form finding your dad to saving teh wasteland and then Broken Steel added to it. Also, the enemies in FO3 didn't scale with you, unlike Oblivion.
"If at first you don't succeed, excessive force is probably the answer."
Interface? - Console mess, Combat? - FPS, Dialogues? - Terrible voice acting, stupid zoom in camera, Main Story? - we sorted that out, Old Fallout Humour? - no humour at all in f3, Multiple choices in everything including - finishing the game without a single shot - all with persuasion like it was possible in old Fallouts? - Not possible, you have to fight your way through the same generic sewers all the time.
You hit level cap at around 30% of the game, all mobs in game are scaling to you - ie at level 1 if you walk around you meet weak brutes and dogs, at level 20, all shoot rockets at you and sustain at least 15 headshots from your sniper rifle.

You are absolutely tripping on there being terrible voice acting. Most of it was top notch, with only the shopkeeper in Point Lookout driving me nuts. No humor? You're tripping even more. Old Fallout games letting you never fire a shot? Bullshit. Just because you can convince the Master to commit suicide doesn't mean you can get to him easy. Remember the laser turrets and forcefield? Remember Horrigan? No talking your way out of that one. There were tons of missions you had to avoid if you never wanted to kill too - Wannamingo Mines? Better forget about it, you're a pacifist.
I'm not even going to address the rest, it's evident you went into FO3 with the express reason to hate on it and prop up the interplay versions.

I killed monsters excluding behemoths and feral ghouls in 2-3 shots in head with a rifle in vats (lincoln's repeater) maybe you were not that high of a skill in the weapon?
Plus some monsters are stronger/weaker against certian type of weapons.
Old Fallout games letting you never fire a shot? Bullshit. Just because you can convince the Master to commit suicide doesn't mean you can get to him easy.
There are non combat Fallout guides all over the internet for you to follow if you want to finish the game without a single bullet shot. Just google them out, I won't do that for you.
15 head shots I was takling about the super mutants with rocket launchers that kept spawning all over the ruins when you hit level 20.
F3 forced me to go throught the sewers at least 10 times, everytime fightning the same mobs - ghuls and mutants, sometimes cockroaches.
You are probably the first person defending the voice acting, even the most fanatically devoted fanboys never claimed the voice acting to be good.
So in short, you may not have high expectations for this game, but 99% of the rest of us do.
This sounds too familiar to the fanbois in STO forum before the STO was released... Anyone who was sceptic back then, were labelled "idiots", "stupid" etc etc.
Well, what is worse; me going back to gloat in that forum, or those one who label's other with such bad words in the first place?
What I really don't understand, is why people are freaking so out each time someone expresses some valid point about a game...
I find that... Amusing!
All I can say to those crybabies; keep em coming! Your tears makes excellent polish for my armors, and your whining is music in my ears!!

REALITY CHECK
Peace out & good gaming al!!
