Is this the new MMO based on "Pitch Black" movie? Where are all the cool alien sounds, those "ooooooOOOO" sounds aliens made to "see" you? Is there Vin Diesel npc and does he have a faction?

Ahh these people... Night time is what games have been needing for a long time now. It adds depth to the realism and requires you to think a little more before wandering around alone in the dark. Imagine having to keep ready for an ambush behind any tree at any moment! Imagine lying in wait for someone to wander on by! Those that will find this to be to difficult for them are those that this IS NOT catering to. Any TRUE PvP'er would see the benefits of this system. Gankers may piss and moan because "They are making it to easy for them to run away!". Man up, get some skill, and learn how to use the system.

It doesn't make it hardcore, and it doesn't make it "realistic". Do you know what getting night vision means in real life?
SV changed it because they found by overwhelming majority, that trying to make it 'super realistic' does not make it fun. That's by their own users who love the way the game plays now. Thinking about the rest of their design people cop to using words like "realism" and "hardcore" when in fact, it's just poorly thought out and not a lot of fun.
But if you enjoy it, I encourage you to tell them to keep it in.

As for "Night Vision" you mean to tell me you can see just fine on a dark night, in the woods, with trees blocking any ambient light (which gives you your "night vision") you can see just fine?
As for not a lot of fin that is your opinion. In mine it would be beyond fun. Then again maybe I am just so tired an burnt out on all the rehashes of the same shit daily that I was hoping for something different.
Back to searching for a decent PvP game with devs that actually keep their word.
And this is why sandbox games will continue to fail.. Too many people think that sandbox games are all about PvP and nothing else and the amateur indy companies out there believe them because they have no experience in the genre. NEWSFLASH .. UO wasnt about PvP either.
Nothing about MO is realistic especially when there arent 1 hit kills and perma death. You cant pick and choose what you want to be realistic and what you want to be fantasy.
