now i had always thought they were like dirt poor ahhhh help us people kind of country but they are like coming out with this crap..... yeah what a waste of money devolping somthing that will kill us in the long run.... shoot they could use that money to help the hungry or there secuirty or something

    WTF happened to the dissarmament treaties ? This is truly retarded. Btw we could still have a conventional WWIII. If there is a ballistic nuclear release it will probably be by terrorists and there won't be a direct response.

    I don't know why they would need a new missile they already have a device that is capable of destroying the entire earth automatically should they ever be attacked.

    Gah! We are going to die anyways by pollution and global warming.
    Our missile defence system is at like pre-alpha stage anyways.
    I want the russain government to invest in mmorpgs :P

    THey might be scared of us using a nuclear weapon, and + why would they want a missile that can evade our missile defence system(I'm scared). The easyest way to trick the missile defence ststem is to PUT more than one real warhead.

    O and i forgot to mention their doom weapon.

    i hope you all relize that due to bush winning, other countries feel greatly threatened.  Well, other countires that aren't part of an alliance/combination that could destroy america completely (aka: Eu, anyway, i don't think Russia is in it, but anyone know for certain on that fact?)  America talks about "disarming poeple", but they have yet to disarm themselves.  America is developing an anti-nuke defense grid.  Which would mean, that America couldn't be stopped since they ahve more nukes than anyone else.  So Russia builds a more advanced nuke, so what.  Just keeping the sides as equal as they are now.  GET THE F*** OVER IT!

    Actually defense development is considered a security expenditure by most people heh. Governments are less likely to sponsor terrorist groups which operate in Russia if there's a substantial chance Putain will shower them with nukes. Makes me wonder if Chechnia is going to become the new testing site for some experimental missle tests.

    Russia has a large number of resource based industries. Oh and the drug money. And the western development money going into it.
