I went with Rift. I've more recently started reading about it and it sounds incredibly interesting and I would like to contribute to it being a good game (and you know, play it)
None. I don't play BETAs. They ruin the experience for me. I plan to treat Cataclysm like I did WotLK. Avoid any and all information on it until its release. That way I can enter the world with that same confusion and awe I did so long ago.

My vote is on RIFT, Priest in armor is just pure epic twist.
Err, what about DDO and Vanguard then ?
I utterly fail to see whats special about Priests in Armor ...
Or Warhammer online and countless RPG's, priests in armour is a common thing.
I've yet to look into Rift other than a cursory glance a while back, seeing the amount of interest in it's direction i'm going to have to look a bit more closely.
RIFT, as with the latest info i find it more appealing than the others.
Im afraid that GW2 will be great, but i doubt they can keep up with content - maybe - just thoughts.
SWTOR gameplay vids seems way to clumpsy to me.
Anyhow GW2 and SWToR will probably be 2 great games, where as RIFT is more of a outsider to the awesomeztttlol in development title, and id like to have a real look at it.
Guild Wars 2,iam a GW fan but i got bored of GW1 and want something new,so GW2 is perfect for me with all the new stuff their promising and have showed us and ArenaNet is great on lore and making beautiful game worlds.
I will try Rift aswell,as it looks very close to vanguard in graphics and vie played vanguard for 3 years or more.
I absolutely loathe unnecessary bugs and gameplay problems, especially when companies have the resources to do a much better job than they currently do at fixing them. I also loathe games that don't seem to have a problem with leaving chuncks of their content as arbitrary or unnecessary to go back to after a certain point, games that are pushed constantly forward without a real care given to pushing content laterally as well.
ArenaNet, despite their NCSoft handicap, has done the best of any developer I am familiar with to keep almost all (if not all) of their content viable in Guild Wars and I would really like to see what they do with GW2. Granted, we're going to see the NCSoft handicap time and again but ArenaNet seems better able than other companies to work through it.
(1)TL:DR must be your way of saying that thinking hurts. Then again, this may explain why it looks like you responded to the post without using your brain. (2) It's not about community, is it? You just have nothing better to do.
SWTOR for sure! I saw the new trailer for it live from E3 yesterday. It just had me psyched up to play after watching it. Plus also, come ooon.... Its Star Wars
Originally posted by Tyranix If offered a chance to beta test one of the following, which would you choose ?
FFXIV. Didn't even have to think about it.
EDIT: Actually, the people who say they don't play betas have a point. Even for FFXIV, I'd probably prefer to wait until they had a complete game for me to play.
I chose TOR only because FF14 will be coming out much sooner and I don't want to spoil that game in any way for myself. I, in a way, don't want to "test" it I want to PLAY it, heheh.
At least with TOR, I can maybe test it and see if this story aspect is really going to make a difference. Game still looks great and the more I see and hear the more I want to play, but I have my doubts about the dialogue aspect. I didn't enjoy that part of Mass Effect or Dragon Age, hence why I hope it will implemented perhaps a bit differently. Enough to make me interested in what my characters are saying and all that. More rewarding if you were. Time will tell.
I chose TSW, but it's a close call between that, GW2, and RIFT. Still....I love Ragnar Tournquist and would LOVE to be a part of helping to make that game as good as possible for release. (I'm assuming you're talking about if we had a chance at REAL beta testing, not today's ordinary "beta testing" that's really nothing more than a preview.)

I've been fortunate enough to get into one on that list, but if I could get into another it would be Secret World or Final Fantasy.

Rift and GW2 was a tough toss up but i went with gw2 :-) both gonna be awsome games.
None unless I was getting paid. My relaxation time is too precious to me to spend it testing someone elses product for free.
I'd rather go with either World of Darkness or Copernicus.

Seconded.
I often wait a certain time after release before joining a game, too.
Always helps if you can read other peoples educated opinions first.
World of Darkness, i would play even if i was alfa test invited.

SWTOR was my choice as I'm already testing a couple others on the list and no I won't tell you which ones lol

None... The only thing that beta testing does is speed up the burn out.

If I were going to beta test something, it would be World of Darkness.

Guild Wars 2, looks like a game that is targetting for the RPG feel and the accomplishment of the player, the rest don't fit my liking.
After seeing the Warhammer 40k trailer? I'd definitely have to go with that.
GW2, because Star Wars with no talk of space combat is just plain wrong. It's STAR wars, and all we've seen is planets. Blah.
