You will be able to move:

    1. Forwards

    2. Backwards

    3. Left

    4. Right

    Pretty standard for a MMO.

    Read Jump, crouch, inviseble borders...

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

You get bonus for your leve, for helping others you get the basic reward.
And uhh I can't say anymore. I think it was a mistake to say even this much, attack of the trolls is inevitable at this point.

Well it's already known that guildleves per difficulty level will reward in a graduated fashion accordingly (I thought that was stated by the devs at E3 in interviews?). The exact scheme of the graduated rewards is obviously not disclosed as this time. *shrugs* But what I see here a reason to group for the leves. Like say you're trying to get some mats to craft, but it's in a particularly hostile area where beastmen like to patrol, obviously having your mates pick up leves to hunt said beastmen while you harvest makes sense. And so on. So, I don't see the guildleve system merely as a tool to solo, but as a tool to configure parties.

-Totall freedom of class and character building, be what you want and how you want.

-Combat tactics shoudl make the difference between good and not so good players and not so much reaction speed.

I am still very skepticle that people will be able to build a class anyway they want without being mocked. I just see the community finding the optimal builds for each class and youll be expected to fall into that build. Just like FFXI, you could sub anything you wanted, but in practicality you were doomed for only 1 maybe 2 choices for a subjobs.

Waiting for:EQ-Next, ArcheAge (not so much anymore)

    Worst MMO: FFXIV
    Favorite MMO: FFXI

I will be trying out FFXIV and GW2 both sound really good to me. Since XIV is coming out first I will be trying out that one first hehe. I already have 5 friends I know really well that will be getting the game so yay me. I enjoyed XI and am tired of WoW, so really looking forward to going to back to a FF game.

Will also be looking at TERA when it comes out next year, and I was thinking I give RIFTS a look at but none of my buddies are interested in that one at all.

Will I be disappointed in something in the game, probably lol. But what do you expect there is no perfect game out there, but you can always hope that the disappointing part is fixed in some future patch.

And the whole jump thing, I do not believe that will ever be implemented, it would probably be way to hard to do since that is a lot of coding you have to do for the whole game, or I could be wrong. But Ryzom had the same thing no jumping and the way they put it, the whole colision thing would prevent you from adding jump to the game.

    Read Jump, crouch, inviseble borders...

I won't mention the four letter J word, as it was already show not needed for this game. You'll be able to go anywhere by walking or running that you were meant to go if "j" was included. You still get to the same places only your MODE of getting there is simplier and basic. You know.. kind of like you do everyday on the way to work. Walking and running.

But how many times do you "crounch" in a MMO? Really...

Invisible borders are in every game as well so not an issue either.

I think this "freedom" argument that keeps popping up with detractors in these threads are some kind of red herring. I think it has to do with something else because I really have a hard time believe people really get cross-eyed over small things like these.

Things like staning on a cliff and not being able to jump down intoo the water will really feel lik 20th century to me. I saw a character in one of the video's unable to move down a steep section that was only briefly higher then the character height because of an invisible wall.

You're right about crouch, tough i am still wayting on the MMO that requires players to climb, crouch, jump on moving platforms, use ropes, dodge traps.. but this will probably be a wish for a long time and this is not the game thats expected to change it.

But invisible walls are such a killer to me.

Maybe the game is just SO good, and those people are the sort that whine about anything, that this is the one thing they latch onto to whine about.

Closest game I played that sort of required you to have a good knowledge of jumping, crouching, as well as actively hitting Block buttons and evade buttons to avoid traps and hits was DDO Online. The combat was very involving with things you had to do, especially as Rogue type class.

Not sure if you've played that, but it's F2P so you might want to give it a shot.

Um the one that I remember that you have to be able to jump, crouch and all that is Super Mario Brothers....

Now if they could make Super Mario Brothers into an MMO problem solved!

Primary class would be the plumber.

Plumbers can tank and jump on enemies and well they can shoot fireballs or iceballs I guess lol.

Princess job would involve getting kidnapped by Bowswer.

The absolute BEST part of SE's new game? It's P2P, it will always be P2P, there will never be

any F2P problems, whiners, kids, or general game-ruining morons to deal with. A nice mature,

    friendly group of players.

Ahh, finally. Yes, Im in the beta test.  I hope they follow their general rule to "release the game

when its ready" and push the release back 6 months or more, so I can test longer.

OMG over powered. Plus we all know plumbers can't tank. If a tiny mushroom man walks into mario he can't live with himself, unless he's trippin on stars.
