Face it, people in the real world can be assholes and have hatreds that are unreasonable and illogical. Everyone has to encounter that kind of thing sometime in the future. If a parent shelters their kid from sex, drugs, sexism and racism they won't have the psychological tools to deal with that kind of thing. Instead of complaining and banning his kid from playing WoW the fathert should have had a "birds and the bees" talk with his son and told him to expect mindless hatred for women and ethnic groups from certain people. He should point out why stereotyping is wrong and why mindless hatred like that makes people who engage in it stupid and narrow-minded.
I recently went to a bon fire for a friend's birthday party and it was filled with moronic rednecks making racist and sexist jokes. Every second word out of their mouths was n***** this, wop that and c*** the other. I didn't have a melt down or feel the peer pressure need to agree with them because I wasn't coddled as a kid and treated like my mind was precious and needed to be protected from shattering at the slightest hint of something bad.
The only real sad thing here is having such douchebag loser of a father.

Here is the BEST way to deal with the problem.. ENFORCE your rules, especially when it crosses legal lines.. Anytime open chat violates the rules or laws of society, give that account a Warning.. 1st strike, 3 days suspension.. 2nd strike 30 days.. 3rd strike PERMA BANNED.. In general, people in WoW chat act like total asses because they do not fear any GM, or TOS.
FYI.. having certain topics of adult chat with a minor is a misdemeanor, and in some cases a felony.. Just because it's the internet is not a free pass to ignore imappropriated behavior.. I don't hold Blizzard to blame for the topics, but I do hold Blizzard to blame for not policing their game.. This is no different then a group of people talking aloud in real life within the property of the company.. I have reported many that have violated TOS, and who knows if Blizzard actually does anything about it..
My guess, is as long as they keep paying $15 a month, nothing will happen, UNLESS someone with connections can become a legal pain in the arse to Blizzard.. At times I wish I was an attorney..

And faster a 18+ server hast to be established . Imagine 14 year old raid leader doing hardcore mode , sorry mom and dad are calling the raid is canceled XD

IF Goldshire is so widly accepted, and since WoW has over 1,000 players logged on during prime time evening per server.. If we ban the 100 jerks at Goldshire, I don't see a problem with that That still leaves 900 viable players..
PS.. those numbers were pulled out of my arse.. the fact is that number of jerks in Goldshire are a very small minority.. Maybe making an example of them will calm down the other chatters as well

I couldn't find anywhere on his post that said parental controls or using censorship on the account. He only knew where and how to ignore other players. The quote above also reads that he trusted his son enough not to enable parental controls or censorship.
