We don't know for sure they'll be doing one today. So don't get too excited.
Fingers crossed though. I'm hoping they reveal one of the NEW classes this time. It would be so meh if they announced a class that was in the previous guild wars.
have you ever considered that there will be no necromancer? I have downed players on my mind. It seems players will not leave corpses, so necromancery could be compromised. I'm betting on assassin. If you watched gw2 manifesto then you might have noticed that they have suspiciously showed assassin's concept art for about 3 seconds while other concept arts were just a fly-by (less than a second).

Any thoughts on my conclusion? :P
there will be a necromancer, the novel that a sylvari necromancer as a huge character. (sorry if this seems mean I really don't mean it too) but you missunderstand the system, downed players can still die. there is just a state in between life and death in which someone could fight their way back (or get a quick rally from a friend).
Without the necromancer GW2 will be less awesome..
however, there is a fatal flaud in my deduction - one of the weapons is SCEPTER which is the traditional weapon of necromancers. So, don't worry - necromancer was too popular in gw1 to be left out in gw2.
edit: oh yea sylvari's hero is a necromancer - it's so obvious.
okay this is it - the next proffession is necro for sure!
P.S. thanks for correcting my knowledge about downed system, now it's much clearer.
I think it will be somewhere between now and Monday. Anything after Monday seems too close to Gamescon, by which they said they will have already released the new class. I'm HOPING for today as it will be something that I can go "Squeee" about and relieve my boredom, but I don't think it's likely after the big hulla balloo yesterday about the manifesto and all that. I believe the next class will be either Necro or Assassin.
They went from, "Tank style class - Caster style class - Dps style class" so im sure they'll go full circle again and begin a new cycle?
just an opinion,
They went elementalist-Warrior-Ranger..........
just tell me where the Warrior is a caster class ?
Make sure to get the facts right before making assumptions.
Next to that, it didn't happen today as its allready tomorrow and today passed into yesterday. There was allready enough new info this week and i don't expect them to present the Necromancer any day before early next week.

Warrior in Guild Wars has NEVER been a "tank class". Warriors can skill many different ways. They can be fast running high dps for example. They can be knockdown/interrupters. They CAN be tanky if using the skills, but MANY other options exist. Guild Wars is such a strong game because of the freedom to skill out your own way.
People really need to open their minds up out of the same TIRED format other MMO's just keep repeating.
I'm guessing the professions dervish, paragon and ritualists will not show in GW2.
Maybe the elementalist or necromancer will have some ritualist-like skills, while the warrior will have paragon-like skills. And dervish will be replaced by a completely new profession. Maybe an engineer-like profession, since that Asura jumped out of a M.O.X.-bot (whatever they're called) after it was destroyed.
That was an Ele that jumped out of the Golem, the "engineer/gunner" profession (I think) is the guy that shot the golem.

All i can say is : Necromancer...
But i was expecting it next week, tought they would stick with the movie and a blog for this week.

waiting for ... nothing..
Speculation or truth? Provide link to who said there will be a new prof today.
This is not a game.
I dont know, but i believe it will be today.
Boo!
hehe Ah well, I hope so too then.
Yup, that's the impression over at Guru...
I doubt they would release another one and change their whole web page the day after a HUGE trailer. Though I could be wrong....
my money is on next week, though it could be tomorrow.

I seriously doubt they will have one this week. I'm betting on next week for a new reveal.
There will probably be a few more interviews this week, maybe even another blog post.
I honestly don't know why everyone's jumping around screaming necromancer reveal. Selfish SOBs.
True. It will be the mesmer. Not this week though.
Presumptious OP lol. Fair guess, but I think Fri or Mon is more likely imo.
