As I've discussed before in another thread, things that are perceived as negative are often just objective, the reason they are perceived as negative is because some people are illogically positive so anything below their level of positivity appears negative to them, even if in reality it is just objective. Anyway if you can show me any post where I have been disproven by any sort of real evidence, go ahead.

Hell even your title for the thread was BS "An honest review of all the info from gamescon.... you aren't there and can't really say much to back up anything. I am sure that was all pointed out. Sift through your own BS if you like I am done just thought I'd show you what i was talking about. Of course you are gonna argue that you weren't disproven since that is gonna also be object to opinion just like any evidence brought forth to show you otherwise. and the cycle will continue.
Just a matter of perception. You perceive it as me trying to crucify anet, but in reality I am just calling them out on their claims. Obviously if a dev is going to make claims about a game, i'd like them to deliver on such claims.

you have nothing to disprove, because you dont really say what you hate, whats wrong or anything. if you did then we would have a discustion but you are just posing mindless hate that can go nowhere.
Well as i've pointed out before people who aren't objective might perceive objectivity as "mindless hate" if they are on the other side of the spectrum practicing mindless love.
mindless love is alowed. do you know why? because it does not piss people off, and the majority i have read have stated their cases of what isnt right still and what they hope will be reavaled and fixed. as for your mindlessness that you call a "oposing veiw mwant to invoke conversation" you fall flat, you piss people off and you are generally unwelcome because of it. word to the wize, make a point or get out.
EDIT: sorry poll screwed up, cant fix it
I can't say I am surprised that you would be supportive of mindless love. I prefer a more objective approach though.
Dude get a grip. I called you out and you can try to explain it with any word game you want the fact is you are fullofshit. I actually bothered to go back and read the end of the thread I linked and you were called out on it there as well and your weak ass arguments are exactly that. You actually sound like you can't distinguish what you have read from posts and what arenanet has actually said. Dude you are lame there really is no point in discussing it cause it is right there in black and white for you and still you can't face the fact that your an idiot with a nice vocabulary. I don't see anyone actually coming to the games defence in away that could justify your attack. Who are you trying to kid holding arenanet accountable? LMAO who are you and who cares that you dont like it. In my opinion they have delivered in every way that i can think of from this limited amount of video. The few things I may be able to think of later that maybe they havn't are small. You are the one grasping at straws.
This is a good example of why I prefer to be objective about things.

because you can pretend that everyon else is stupid and you are king logic? you can dismis anyone you choose as a fanboi, and vauge statements become proof,
I really don't care to bounce away from my work to address a child anymore. I don't want to be thought of as a guy who has arguments over the net nor do i care to prove a point. Doesn't matter to you that maybe you are wrong and just looking to pick lil arguments with others for no real reason other than to attempt to make yourself look above us blind followers when in fact you lool like a jerk. The thread has gone away from what it was made for to fluff your ego. Either way the vids left me with the feeling that even if GW2 isn't all there yet, it is definately in a good place and I look forward to a finished product to play myself. And the link to an honest review from a credible source that the op linked has more weight than you do.
Good review, and I sensed some hidden issues in his quite elaborate wordings:
-Dynamic events, how dynamic are these really? When you approach an area, the "new event" pops up. Seems to me to be quite ever-going.... or even on-going as players have to wait for the previous version of an event (dragon) to play out.
-NPCs running up to you. So now you don't run up to NPCs at your will, THEY run up to you? Can I say No to them, what happens then?
-Zones are filled with things to do, from the demos they seems quite constricted (like Aion zones). Are you being put on the content rail?
-Will a few random choices you make hastily at character creation really make you feel anything special, when cruising through your personal story in your instanced home? Will you even notice that things happen due to "your" personality?
There might be good answers to these issues, so let's wait and see how they fan out.

i think the first one can possibly be explained as the events being made to loop for demo, so they could easily show the events off without haveing to wait, or something else happen. (possibly not) as for the rest they are good points, hope we get our answers, its possible that some things will become problematic and repetitive. time will tell

- Dynamic events will loop. As was shown they have varying degrees of complexity. We saw the simple one in the tutorial, and the more complex one with the dragon. However, it is unclear how 'exactly' this will play out in the game. Whether certain events will have multiple loops they can be taken in, etc.
- NPCs running up to you. Yes you can tell them no. What happens will depend on the event. As stated refusing to help them can in some cases be bad, but this doesn't mean you have to help them. Also, in some cases helping the NPC might be bad, so it's basically a personal choice.
- Zones. I'm not sure how 'open' a zone has to be to not fit your definition of being 'on rails'. The human zone was the tutorial, so that was streamlined towards a specific goal. However, the charr one was fairly large. Also, after the tutorial event in the human area we got to see some of the open country, and i don't think you can really call that as being 'on rails'. You in a zone fillled with events, that you can either choose to do or not. I don't think it gets much more open then that unless you're playing a sandbox MMO.
- The last question is definitely an interesting one. However, it's entirely subjective. If you don't really care about the story or content of the game, then I doubt this will make an impact. However if you're the type of player that really likes to follow a storyline, or do certain quests over others, this may definitely make an impact; since you will be unable to do certain quests that do not fall within your character's makeup.

Won't address your other questions but in this I think it is purely because of the demo and the fact you are watching someone play as opposed to play yourself. Playing and watching are two entirely different things.

As far as can be determined from what was said and shown in the videos, there'll be different types of events. The "new event" signals you about an event in the neighbourhood that is going on at that moment: if the event has played out onto the next stage, then you'll either get a different notice for a different event(stage), or things are happening elsewhere. If a village has been destroyed and taken over by centaurs that built a stronghold on it, you very likely won't get a message from a villager to protect the village and defend it against the invaders. You might get a refugee elsewhere that asks you to reclaim the village when you meet him.
-NPCs running up to you. So now you don't run up to NPCs at your will, THEY run up to you? Can I say No to them, what happens then? Yes, you can. Event will roll on, with or without you. Other players might help out, they might even kill centaurs and be rewarded for helping kill all invaders without any villagers having run up to him before the event ended. In one of the videos it was said that NPC's running up to you giving the highlights of things occurring was more of a notifier, them providing information what was going on.
-Zones are filled with things to do, from the demos they seems quite constricted (like Aion zones). Are you being put on the content rail? Well, the content density seems to be high, yes, you don't have to seek far.
-Will a few random choices you make hastily at character creation really make you feel anything special, when cruising through your personal story in your instanced home? Will you even notice that things happen due to "your" personality? It was stated that your choices will have consequences throughout the game in your Personal Quests. One of the early effects noticed was that if you chose to be a Commoner, early on you'll get into a gang fight in your Home District, while if you chose Nobleman you'll have a different encounter namely someone asking for your help.
There might be good answers to these issues, so let's wait and see how they fan out.
True. This was just the early gameplay videos and reports, how it'll fan out I guess we'll see in the upcoming months.

Events looping depends on the event. Quite a few of them are chain events are boolean logic. In other words a condition is set and won't change until someone changes it to a different stage of the event. Eventually that whole chain would loop on itself but that would depend on the players.
