What is this reward for? The game isn't even in Beta yet. So were they really judging the game? Or is this just a reward for best hype?
They put a Dragon 3 times the size of Ragnaros 100 yards from Newbie Spawn Point. Yes, I think they need the hype to sell their 10 million Box Copies.
if you try to stress things first get your facts straight. THE dragon was in THE lvl 47 area, THE elemental was in THE human newbee area's NeXT to thatcher, this was only à. Small and minor dragon compared to THE ancient ones
Ah, forgive me, I tend to call every boss "Dragon". Old habit....
Small you say? Hmm, I wonder if it will be even possible to see the toe nails of the large ones.
So wait one second here. The game doesn't actually start you off with fighting all those epic bosses?
No matter this game is still going to bury all of its competitors, its just gonna be that freakin HUGE!!!
Wh.. I.. who... what the hell are you talking about?
Developers only have one chance to prove themselves and once they met that goal, it's hard to sway they followers otherwise. AneraNet did an impressive job with GW and have proven to be trustworthy, thus it would be hard for anybody to convince me that their words or opinion is grander than ArenaNet's.
As far as I'm concerned, the award is just a byproduct of what ArenaNet have done with GW2 so far. With or without the award, their goal is to "walk the walk" and not win awards. If they win an award, I think it's good, but if they didn't, I don't think they'd be disappointed.
Players of GW1 have been pushing and pushing ArenaNet to improve the game, add more stuff, etc. and their answer is GW2. That's good enough for me.

Ready for GW2!!!
With the amount of thought they put into this game, they definitely deserved it!
Grats to them!
