This beta isn't "BETA" this is the build they pretty much plan to release.
In fact BETA wasn't BETA they listened to absolutely NOTHING any of us had to say.
Of the thousands and thousands of posts on multiple issues many beta testers had with the game, all they saw was that we wanted more mouse control. Stated in and interview where SE procclaimed that 90% of all feedback had to do with the mouse. Which was a god damned bold faced lie.
So if it's shit, yes you CAN complain.
The mouse/controls feedback section has the most posts of all the other sections so his statement is far more valid than any of yours my friend.
SE always listens to its playerbase they just don't grace us all with a pat on the head and hold our hands until what we want is put in.
Just like the hundreds of people complaining about lack of AH on launch... FFXI didn't have an AH on launch and any of the testers who did any exploring would notice SE has already set aside a building bearing the AH symbol with a NPC standing outside of it with a silly comment like "Beyond these doors lies absolute doom!" or something. SE likes to suprise us instead of handing us our hopes and dreams on a silver plater
FFXIV does not have a "fatigue" system, they posted a semi-detailed explaination on the system and also stated a few of the features(xp storage) wasn't working during beta. A player could just change jobs and level anew while the other job is resetting and it won't take a week to fully reset unless you keep using it. Don't say "I only wanna level one job though" cause leveling 1 job will end up with you dying left and right due to alot of the cross-class abilities are geared to help youout in whatever role you intend on playing.
IE: You wanna be a gladiator tank? you need to level pugilist to get taunt, you need marauder for defender, both classes also have evasion/defense boosting abilities aswell as counter attacks to help you tank. Level gladiator alone and your just a washed out melee with very little use.
Well my wife would like to try this so I hope to get into the Open Beta. She wants a "pretty" MMO and if we can play it on the PS3 bonus!

mmos are different and have different standards that the ff series just doesn't live up to.

you can play XI and XIV full keyboard, keyboard/mouse, or just controller with keyboard to type.
I personally switch up my modes depending on my mood, I mainly just plug my wired 360 controller to pc and set it up in config.
