Male characters wear short shorts and skin-tight costumes, sometimes shirtless upper torsos even, so some people need to quit being thin-skinned and get over themselves, seriously.
DCUO isn't set on Earth-0 hence the current WW arc not being reflected in the game. They are doing a 'clean boot' of the timeline so none of the major storylines have happened (yet).
I'm suprised they're still doing character reveals this far down the track.
Prefer the older version. New version looks like bar skank. Come on guys you know what I mean. I am sure I am not the only one that went ot a bar met a 10 but in the morning light it was found to be far less.

But then I think WW classic outfit is one of the worst ever, almost in class with Marvels Thor.

I think it comes back to whether they're trying to appeal to the fanatics who want to stick to the classics, or just average gamers who have liked comics at some point, but haven't actually been collecting them for the past 40 years.
I mean, there's a reason they regularly change the old costumes, and why most superhero movies use modern variants. Its because times change, fashions change, standards change, and classic can look pretty awful to people who don't appreciate all that iconicism quite so much.
It worries me, not because one CAN look like the originals, but because that might mean that the whole game leans in that direction.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

Well if you think about it, "Skanky"-ness doesn't really depend on the revealing nature of the clothing itself. I mean, why are french maid outfits considered skanky? They actually have a lot longer skirts than other outfits. It's really relative.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for everyone being treated equally and for people treating others with decency and respect. However, what is wrong with a man or woman wearing something that shows off a nice figure. If you've got it and are not ashamed to show it, that is your own individual choice, no one else's. Who are they to determine that WW needs to be 'covered up'.
FYI, the devs have said she'd start the game in classic costume, but would soon switch to her new one.
