Title says it all, reminds me of the New Coke fiasco back in the 80's. Turbines new website layout and forums suck. Slow as molasses on a cold day, horrible security by using game login as forum login. I refuse to login that way to even post this on the official website so I am venting here in hopes that someone from Turbine cruises these forums. Don't fix what wasn't broke Turbine, the old forums and My LoTRO were far superior to the new updated site.

Well if your forum name was differnt than your ingame name your fubar.
You can not post anything, some folks might think thats good but whey your trying to get technical support and cant post in there when you need help becasue your getting the error you must have a vaild game name, lol vip.
Yes the new changes were not very well thought out and there are several folks in that boat of having to use older accounts to log into the forum or beta account names.
I was not intersted in the post until I saw the unsecure forum part with game login. Who has a login for anything be unsecure. That is just asking for people to have their accounts stolen. Anyone between you and the server could intercept the signal (with access) and steal your account. We all know cable works like this, so if you have a bunch of people down from you on the drop you could lose your account with minimal effort from the thief.

Subjective. I liked the old forums better. Not to mention the new one has some weirdness display issues with Google Chrome.
