I've already elaborated at length as to what I really think they need to fix by release.

As for the rest?  Well, it would be nice, but I can live without it in the meanwhile.

(Part of me is like, "hey, I already did this thread, but noooo, you guys decided you'd rather argue.")

Here, here.  You've got good taste in MMORPGs.   There's some games working on dynamic events, and other games with a balance as tight as FFXI, but it may never so happen that we're so fortunate as to see these two things come together.

Is it that hard to use macros?

    2.  They should include the beta webpages starter guide inside the game support desk option for people who get lost.  Also add more specific details to it.

    Most games come with manuals

    4.  They should get rid of the 8 Leves per 48 hours.  They should make it so Leves you have completed disapear for 48 hours but you can do as many leves as you want.

Leves are suppose to be repeatable every 6hrs and new ones that share a timer every 2hrs or so I've read

    5.  The leveling EXPERIANCE restrction should  be removed, alternative methods should be done.  Such as having the effect of dying on your character if you play more then 8 hours with a class, and not being able to heal at the crystal etc.  Something that encourages changing classes but not absolutly forcing it.

The exp cap is per job per day. I don't think anyone would ever reach it unless they play the game almost 24/7.

    6.  The intro videos should play straight through to the fight scenes (no load/unload lobbies in between).  The fights should last longer and make you more involved with little tips in the left box.  If your a Land or Hands class you should NOT get a intro with a fight, and instead get one with crafting.

    7.  Once you have talked to a person and discovered they are a shop (example like the repairman).  A little Icon should show up on your map with there location.

    No. Learn the maps

    8.  Shops should sell all low gear stuff not just a few items like the shield and a axe.  (No I'm not talking about weathered crap)

All shops, or some shops sell some stuff and other shops sell other stuff? I like the later better than the former

    9.  If you have a enemy targeted you should NOT have to hit confirm twice to cast a magic spell, should only have to hit it once.  Hitting the confirm butten a third time (in the case of input lag)  SHOULD NOT cancel your spell.  Only the CANCEL butten should CANCEL a spell !!!

You have to hit confirm twice because most spells are AoE. Thats actually a good design decision.

    10.  Durring crafting it should automaticaly keep your item list up, you should not have to redo it each time you finish a leve synthesis.

    11.  The selling system should be completely scraped.  Redone where you can sell items either fast, or more then one at a time.  Going through 3 menus for each and every single item is unacceptable.

    12.  They should add a report bot/spammer option.

    13.  They should make it so you can go down all cliff edges, if it's to high damage should reflect it.

With their targeting system I like it better this way. A moot point either way really.

    14.  If a enemy goes out of site you should still remain targeted to them when they come out(example dig from moles).

No, the fact that you don't stay locked onto such mobs is a good thing because it makes the fights harder by preventing you from knowing where they'll turn up

    15.  If you finish killing a enemy and their is a second enemy attacking you the targeting reticle should go automaticaly to them.  Secondly if you hit right, it should go to the next closest target, not you, then something 20 feet away, then another something, then to your target 1 foot in front of you.

There is a target nearest NPC key. F11 targets what ever is directly in front of your character, meaning, if two people or NPC are standing directly to your left or right, looking at the right character with your character pointing toward it, pressing f11 will lock on to the right character/NPC

That's it for now I'll add more if I think of more ^_^.

Please feel free to add to list.  But it HAS to be SPECIFIC things.  No being retarded and saying something like "it needs more content."  Especialy sense SE has mentioned several times the story has mostly been disabled for close/open beta and only paid private sector beta get to play it.

I personaly am a HUGE fangirl of Final Fantasy, and have already preordered the collectors edition from amazon.  So please only mention the things that would fix the current problems with the game not just random trolling XD.

Where did you read this? Tanaka said it was every 48 hours.

The exp cap is per job per day. I don't think anyone would ever reach it unless they play the game almost 24/7.

It is every week not by day. The cap resets weekly not daily.

    1) I read when jumping between pages. SO either on the beta site buried in some post, or one of the main "fan" sites.

    2) My bad, I thought it was per day. Even if it is per week, the point still stands.

why do people complain about controls?I can see the UI, but moving your chartacter with mouse and wasd works fine for me.As for needing a controller, I use keyboard and I really dont see why a controller would help so much. The problem with the UI is mainly its over simplicity and it being too menu based.I can easily use the - key and the arrow keys to move around in menus and enter/esc to confirm/go back and tab/f11 to select. The game is clearly not ready for release as there is 0 content, but the performance/lag is to be expected in OB/early release for an mmo and the UI, while sucking, is because of other reasons then a lack of controller.

It's very hard to make changes to a game that has been designed for a console....sorry but if your are a PC user your just gonna have to live with most of these short commings.

Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...

They need to fix those crashes and as many other bugs as possible. But the client (and patcher) really needs more stability before the game goes live.
