The bottom line for anyone is to have fun, whether it be playing FFXIV, WoW or Eve or the hundreds of multi and single games out there. The OP does seem to be one of the more genuine posters. I got the feeling he was honestly trying to tell folks "this game is pretty good".
All games have their Pros and Cons.. ALL of them. Never has the "one size fits all" game been made and never will be. The thing one has to remember when putting our thoughts on gaming forums, out for the whole world to read is that they will be questioned, commented on and even ridiculed.

This is why people give girls gamers so much hell, because you look at what has happend in the past and use that to determine the future. In reality all your doing is loudly stating that you have no mental ablity to adapt in real time to situations and are wholy reliant on preconcieved notions. Yes, right now girl gamers hold much of the power in the community both macro and micro, however, sooner or later the same flawed methods that allowed them to gain dominance will come crashing down and it will be to the big strong men you come run to. Begging to be saved from the demise you yourselves created.
Sadly, now that we can just genetically clone and create females there's no longer a need for civil discourse or diplomacy and you're just going to find that you have a giant pile of humble pie to eat.

I think the posters "joke" is more pointed towards feminism and political correctness than towards the female sex.... but i could be wrong.
