Mechwarrior....i know there's perpetuum (sp?), but it doesnt have the lore to match it.
I think a mechwarrior or battletech type of MMO would be pretty neat. I don't think I've actually played any MMOs that had any sort of mech style gameplay other than Rising Forces and that can sort of....well...stunk.

Yeah, Firefly would be my most wanted. Also, zombies. Dead Frontier is kinda cool for what it is, but I'd really prefer a proper, AAA survival horror MMO.
Also, Shadowrun. Something that expanded upon the Gensis game concept (because, really, it was fucking awesome).

+100000 and furthermore developed by a company like CCP who will make it a true sandbox type game, cause I just don't see it being fun any other way, but man would I love to see this game with Independants (or basically no faction), Reavers, and the Alliance being playable factions. You know if I got PvP ganked by a Reaver group it would almost just feel right. Hehe.

Supposedly the zombie idea is being worked on, however it's going to be console only so take that for what it's worth, but the concept sounded cool. Though I tend to enjoy my MMOs on computers.

I'm not against a console only MMO, but it seems a bit short sighted. Sure, console gamers need MMO's too, but I think if you really want one to thrive, you're going to need to have it accessible to the PC community.

Call me unoriginal but i want a Forgotten Realms MMO that is truly dynamic, when you cleanse the kobold village it stays cleansed, and no you cant kick Szass Tam's butt, and there are game masters that make world shaping events happens.

Yes exactly. Alliance v. Independents v. Reavers n other lawless warlords
Set it somewhat after the firefly shows during a new revolt against the alliance.

I would like a Naruto shippuden MMO. With all the different Ninjustsu, genjustsu and tai justu, the kind of character you would be able to do will be amazing.
There are a lot of good suggestions in the previous posts. I'd like to see a Dune or Firefly MMO. I'd like to see a Fable or Elder Scrolls MMO, though I'd worry that what made those games so fun for me would be lost in the translation to the MMO format.
And now, for my suggestion:
-- Watership Down. I know it is about rabbits, but they are PvP rabbits. With territory and resource control features! I realize it's a game that will never get made, but I think it is an idea with potential.
Harry Potter for sure. But I'd venture there would have to be 2 types. A Freerealms type for all the younger players, and a normal MMO for gamers.
Starcraft MMO (Well duh...)
I would really love an MMO set in a sci fi setting, where you have space similar to Xwing Vs Tighter, Ground combat like WoW (how fluid and fun it can be), Crafting like SWG, three or four factions (Def a smuggler / inbetween faction that can join any of the other sides), ability to board and attack capital ships (IE ground combat on the ship to attempt to take it over/destroy it), and a real war across the galaxy (Doesn't need to be thousands of planets. Could be like 20 at the start).

Does not have to be new, how about a pre NGE Star Wars Galaxies.
Firefly

I agree.
Wheel of time mmo, as long as no one is constantly messing with their skirts.
Forgotten realms, not made by cryptic or bioware or SOE.
Star wars MMO set during the first 3 movies not made by SOE or bioware.
A MMO set in the universe in the books by Scott Daley, the adventures of Hobart Floyt and Alacrity Fitzhugh.
Supernatural, the only pve game I would play.

But that is just an unoriginal dream of mine.
- Dune mmorpg
- Mmorpg where the world is overunned by zombies and you could choose be zombie/mutant or surviving human
Brust's Dragaera for a fantasy MMO.
Niven's Known Space for SF.
Dynamic-environment sandboxes for any and all.
A new LOTRO made by a different company. Turbine failed creating the MMO I expected it to be so I'd love to see it remade.
