Pong, Atari rocked back then. Then again the TI75 was my first computer too, had to hook it up to the TV as there were no monitors and we had to write our own programs. Man how things have changed!
My first computer game was on an Apple 2, I think... I wish I could remember the name of it... you traveled in an air balloon, had to borrow stuff from your uncle to sell for money, and had to pick fruit that fell from a tree before it got spoiled. Might've been one of the first RPG's of all time... named something like the "greatest adventure" or something.
I remember playing this weird platformer on a Apple computer. It was sitting in this chicks basement that i had a crazy crush on as a kid.
You were this robot and you hit a button and changed into a aircraft.
I have no idea what its name was but that was pretty early in my gaming career.

I think that was a sega master system and you were playing TransBot:
Ship mode
Robot mode
"Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas."
I played pong on a Telstar console. It was pretty much the same as the Sears Tele-games unit but it had the option for three different styles of play; regular pong tennis, hockey pong (3 bars each), and table tennis pong (single player)
As for the first PC game, I remember playing a text based game called transylvania or something to that effect. You had different screens that would appear and you would use commands like "N, S, E, W" and "put the silver bullet in the gun"
first RPG would have been Bard's Tale.

I know it was Pong at home, but I may have played something at the movie theatre before then - like Asteroids?
I fall in the same group as grim.. I remember playing Asteriods at the drive in theatre. One of my favorites was Missile Command and lets not forget about Space Invaders or Joust.
In 1977 I was a UNIX ARPANET sysadmin and kernel programmer. I was on the Net in 1977. The good old days
I do remember Pong, but not the console. The Star Trek game we had in 1978 was cool, kind of like Asteroids, with real movement. I cheated on Adventure, since as a sysadmin, I just read the code, xyzzy LOL

Lolo. Little bastard had me screaming in frustration even as a kid. I remember the first time I saw Cool World, when they're squeezing the little balls of ink, thinking how much it looked like Lolo. And then the ball popped and squeeled in pain, and a feel of peace washed over me...

My first video game ever was Pong, the week you could buy one, as a matter of fact. Of course, I have just dated myself, but there was no age limit on the question!

I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.
