I'm starting to wonder if both Trion and the MMO sites that are passing these keys out are starting to have second thoughts as I have yet to see a "positive" thread about giving these keys out on any website or media platform.
You're wondering, they're not. This Beta Key Giveaway has been a tremendous success for both Trion Worlds and MMORPG as well as other gaming sites hosting keys. They've brought tons of new users to the sites, as well as tons of hype about the game itself. You haven't seen any positive threads? Of course not. I've always said the best players are the ones actually playing the games, not busy crying on the forums. You can only guess which category those 300 players who got a key are in.

totally right and even people would be dead mad right now once they are in game if they like what they see they'll forget quickly about the frustration (I know I would)
think every1 qq's to much and needa stop and just chill out hone your refresh skill....yes mmorpg could of did better at the keys....or you could of been online hitting refresh like all of us....even when ya hit refresh it pauses out and said connection failed lol cause its so much traffic lol.....it was crazy the other day.....
but hopefully today we all hit refresh like crazy and than can post asap!!!!!!!!
but I just registered the other day only cause I dont bother posting on forums or get into flame wars with ppl....rather just read the awesome news on the games coming out....and than move on with life or play the game.....not qq all day long....
BTW the Rift newsletter issue #5 I believe gave out a key, so make sure to open it if you were signed up. It isn't VIP, but it's another key. The beta sign up key, the community newsletter key, and a couple other community keys can all be put on the same account.

Yes... you can add them but why would you as one key gives the same chance as 10? Simply read the Beta FAQ linked on these forums. Abigaile suggested giving away the extra keys to friends as there is ZERO benefit from multiple keys unless one is a VIP...

I got my key the other day on another site. I just accidentally came across it soon after posted. It would suck to try and get a key this way i think, good luck to you all.

I've new to the site, but to be fair i'm playing a game on one monitor and refreshing the new page on mmorpg.com every 5 or 10mins. I missed it wednesday during a 3min break for a smoke after sitting at the PC for 11 hrs haha.

I've been paying attention and adjusting things in response to feedback (as someone mentioned we released keys at earlier times to be more friendly for our friends across the pond), we also tried giving out a time window in response to complaints over a lack of specific time, and that resulted in mass camping and a momentary site crash.
I'd love to give you guys advance notice, but it simply didn't turn out to be a good idea. If you've been following things over the past week and read closely into my comments you should be able to get an idea of when we're shooting for. I will say this though, you won't have to wait until midnight Eastern.

I have not been so lucky sadly... and have yet to win or get a single VIP key. These daily giveaways here at MMORPG are probably one of my last chances if not THE last... so.... ill be sitting by my comp on a friday night frantically refreshing and hoping that the bots dont screw me over =/

I love technology as much as the next person, but I don't sleep with my TV.
Well there goes my evening.... Im trying to play beta with my guild, most of whom have gotten VIP keys already via twitter, facebook, and contests. I have not been so lucky sadly... and have yet to win or get a single VIP key.
