So, which MMOs did you play in 2010 (meaning at least a few weeks)?
In that list of yours, which one did you play the most?
And which one was the most fun?
And finally, which ones will you play in 2011?
In 2010:
Lord of the Rings
Star Trek Online
Darkfall
Champions Online (only till STO came out)
In 2011:
Lord of the Rings
Star Trek Online
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Darkfall (till SWTOR comes out)
Lord of the Rings was my most played (in spite of the Freemium) followed by STO and Darkfall in 2010. In 2011, I suspect it will remain the same at least till SWTOR comes out.

Most improved game in 2010, Star Trek Online. Worst of the bunch, Darkfall (the promises aren't met).
Only played Darkfall in 2010,2011 will be Darkfall unless something really good comes out I haven't heard about. For all it's flaws it's still a solid game.
2011: Fallen Earth (no reason to stop playing it, really)
and when they arrive GW2 and SW:TOR
I very much respect and admire the reponsiveness of Trion to feedback through all the Rift Beta events so far, and I'm actually looking forward to Beta 4 in a few days, but I'm still not sold on it as a "main" game for me. I'm starting to think I'm just tired of high fantasy and tab-targetting.
Played for at least a few weeks, EVE, Darkfall, AoC, FE, WAR, CO, CoH & GW.
Still an active player:
WAR - great PvP all the time. Doesn't have the harshness I enjoy in EVE or DF but at least I can actually find fights. Will probably continue to sub.
Fallen Earth - They have through somewhat round-a-bout ways, fixed my chief complaint about the game which was lack of grouping. At launch you could wtfwpn the hardest bosses solo. Now you can have a more limited set of self buffs, 1 of each type. The 'group' mission icon actually means something now. Seeing a large group of standard mobs actually strikes fear. They also have very limited fast travel so you only have to wait 30 mins for clan mates to meet you.
Played in 2010:
For EVE and DF those are both the 3rd or 4th time I've subbed. They have everything I think I want, but loose me after a while for different reasons. EVE there is too much too do. I get into a good corp and it disrupts my real life. DF there is too little to do. I get into a decent sized clan and there is still nothing going on.
AoC - second time I subbed. I got to the end and it became a grind. Good game, but once I'd seen all the areas I didn't feel much incentive to continue. Would have actually competed well with a lot of Single Player RPGs in my book.
CO - best customization. I run into a sort of wall of what to do. I am still subbed but mostly havent logged in.
CoH - I played this game for years. I re subbed to check out the Xpac. It was worth it, but I've kinda done everything with dozens of level 50 toons.
GW - only played cause my RL friend who is new to gaming wanted to play an MMO and I had two accounts (got it as a present tho i already had it years ago). Will probably play more with him in 2011, unless I can convince him to play something newer.
Will play in 2011:
Fallen Earth, WAR.
Will check out Guild Wars2 (if it comes out before 2012) SWTOR and Earthrise. Despite my love of super hero games, I am not sure I'll sub to DCUO after the beta experience. I'll play the month I paid for but then I might have finished the game.

I'm looking to get into an MMO at the beginnning and stay with it for a while but none so far have really captivated me.
It all started last year after playing many older MMO's with Aion and I just did not like the world, crafting, PvP or PvE.
So this year I played from the start
Heroes Of The Three Kingdoms
FFXIV
Perpetuum
Liked FFXIV but left to wait and see what changes where upcoming and the fact that the population fell through the floor.
So fell back on a few other games I like and cycle through them, the beauty of F2P
Sword2
Allods
LotRO
EQ Project1999
Found a cheap box of Ryzom enjoyed that one as well but as I've said looking to get in on the ground floor and grow with the community, so next year it'll be in order of interest.
Rift (played Beta3 and really liked it)
Earthrise
Tera
SWTOR
GW2
Cal.

2011: I dont know yet:P Will continue to play Darkfall and if there is more MMos where you have to aim yourself and can loot your opponents then tell me.
WoW WOTLK (came back into the fray around patch 3.2.3, play maybe 1 - 2 days a week tops)
Everquest 2 Extended (F2P, had some fun for about 2 weeks, got to around level 30, still play from time to time, rarely now tho)
LOTRO ( I originally bought this game retail, played for around 3 weeks then left it, now it's f2p I jumped in for another 2 weeks or so. same as Everquest 2 still play a little, but on rare occasions)
FFXIV (Bought Collectors for early access, was really let down by square enix, played about 2 weeks before hanging the towel, never plan to play again, even tho it's f2p now)
WoW Cataclysm (Bought Digital presale copy, after leveling to 85 from 80 in around 3 days, and the next 2 weeks or so were very boring, same old grind, heroics became harder, meaning gear was harder to obtain, I just didn't see the need to torture myself, I still login maybe 1 day a week tops, planning to have a break and unsub for awhile)
What I'll play in 2011:
SW: TOR: This game really kindles my interest, been Bioware's first MMO and Star wars franchise, this really makes me interested in what's to come from this game. I do not plan for a day 1 purchase however.
Guild Wars 2: I never played the first one, and I'm not one to give in to hype, but I hear alot of good things about this game, and with the f2p model I really like that. No harm done if you don't like the game because there's no sub fees. Again tho, won't be a day 1 purchase.
Aion - beginning of the year played through March.
Warhammer - jumped back to this title with my guild that left Aion lasted till July or so.
Took a Break - took some time off from MMOs got back into some FPS and TPS action. Gotta take the chance to plug Monday Night Combat (love the guys at Uber Ent.) available on both XBLA and Steam.
LotRO - I don't remember the timing on this much but I played after the F2P launch. I didn't play long, but I will be going back thanks to some incentives provided by my friend's wife's uncle who unbeknownst to me all this time is Craig Alexander the VP of Product Development at Turbine.
Darkfall - trialed in October and subbed right afterwards. Still playing currently. Best decision I've made on an MMO in a long while.
Throughout the year I also played a ton of F2P games. Aika, Zentia, and Heroes of the Three Kingdoms seem worth mentioning.
2011
Darkfall - of course I'm not planning to stop any time soon.
GW2 - I played the hell out of the first one and I have been dying to play the sequel since it was announced around 2006.
SW: tOR - While there is no info out there that's really drawing me to this game it is Star Wars after all so I'm sure I will have a look.
I was playing LotRO when 2010 started, quit pretty early and haven't really looked back since...Played mostly standalone single player PC games with the occasional pvp online in games like Dawn of War II and Mount and Blade thrown in...briefly played Perpetuum at the end of 2010...expecting much the same for 2011, mostly playing offline PC games.
Heheh.. Got a few single digit posters clamoring about DF. Guess Tasos has time to make a few accounts.
Why would that be? It's easily the most interesting MMO to come out in years, and has been steadily growing and getting better. The same cannot be said for... pretty much any MMO other than Eve, in the last 5 years.
I played LotRO again (remembered why I hate Turbine, for what they did to Middle Earth Online to make a WoW clone)
played Vanguard (remembered why I hated SoE for slowly strangling the game)
Seriously looking at Earthrise and Firefall after that.
There is NO miracle patch.
95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch.
Hope is not a stategy. ______________________________ "This kind of topic is like one of those little cartoon boxes held up by a stick on a string, with a piece of meat under it. In other words, bait."
Only MMO I spent enough time in to be worth mentioning is Eve but I only played it for a few months. I spent more time playing Civ5 than all the mmos I've played this year combined.
In 2011 I'll play SWTOR and maybe GW2 as well if it gets good reviews maybe more but I don't have enought info on them to decide yet.

Darkfall or something really good must come out
to above post many new starters leave darkfall before even getting to know the game after you learned all basics it can be very addicting
Played in 2010... Lord of the Rings online and EverQuest II for sure. Started the last week of 2010 with Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.
Playing in 2011... Vanguard:Saga of Heroes for sure (kinda hooked up now). And most likely TERA.
Certainly NOT playing this year: Star Wars - The Old Republic, DC Universe and Guild Wars 2

We bitch and whine, but this game is really a hidden gem.
WoW for 1 month in 2010, SWTOR in 2011.
I didn't play many MMOs in 2010.
Hopefully either Guild Wars 2 or Star Wars: The Old Republic in 2011.

Wow was and is still the most fun.
But im gonna try DCUo which is fast and action based.
I tried rift beta but i was dissapointed as it was nothing more than a clone.
Later on comes tera and swtor which im going to try their beta before i buy.
It's best to try beta before you buy a game cause otherwise you feel cheated.
played a bit of wow and EVE, looking to give DF another go. And GW2 if that launches.
Playing EVE
Played Darkfall, Played Wow,
