I am sure next Feb 9th will be a pain in the ass for some over here..

It is your life of course. But if you get all sick because Morhaime will count his next billion, it is time to go outside and take a deep and very deep breath.

Wow is a game you know and I like to play it. If that bothers you, you need more than fresh air.

Sales are up true but i have seen my guild go from active to inactive in the space of a month.  I am not alone in this the end game is boring now more than ever.  There is a 32 page thread on the official forums asking people to rate Cataclysm the average over 32 pages is 5.5 on a 1-10 scale and if you dig deeper the rating for end game content is like 3.  The only part that saved this expansion from ebing complete crap wat the old world revamp.  Even then i hate how they put all the questing "on rails" its not fun.  They may have sold record numbers it remains to be seen if they can keep them and from the relatively low scoring from "casual" and "hardcore" players i am leaning towards no but its a wait and see game.

My pvp guild numbers have gone up, i'm guessing a lot of pvers are trying out the pvp aspect of WoW. They had some really stupid bugs with rated bgs, but now that they are fixed they are fucking fun as hell.

So the commercial success is there, the great critical acclaim is there and ... the usual suspects are here.

Business as usual (" now more than ever " ) in the wake of "new" games on the horizon. Get a life.
