Hey! I got a PB and its just running fine. probaly the best prebuild junk I ever had.. better then HP/Compaq or Acer plastics..
Packard Bell is Acer. Part of Acer's plot to become a major computer manufacturer (now the second largest in the world, behind HP) was to buy up other brand names so that they can sell their products under several names. They also sell computers branded as Gateway and eMachines.
Kinda like when people get upset because they find out their "Alienware" is just a Dell.
-Letting Derek Smart work on your game is like letting Osama bin Laden work in the White House. Something will burn.- -And on the 8th day, man created God.-
Try plugging in the Radeon HD 5750, getting rid of the Nvidia drivers, and installing Catalyst 10.12. See if that makes games run smoothly for you. You'll have to turn settings down somewhat in some games, but it should be enough to make any game run well.
Also, check your power supply, A 5750 might well be overtaxing the power supply, as it probably didn't come with a very good one. That could cause its own set of problems. Find out what power supply you've got. You may have to open up the case and read the label. Give the exact brand name and model, not just the nominal wattage.

Don't forget he lives in England and has to deal with VAT. That thing is a monster to consumer prices.
