I thought it was a amazing game my self... downloaded it after I watched MMOHuts video on youtube... and it is sooooo good. Plus it can be ran on a netbook and is only 500mb.

Personally I think Firefall looks better.
What makes it an MMO? Its not even close to Planetside
Yeah but youll prolly either have to buy that game, or pay for guns and stuff. Plus im not a fan of Team Fortress graphics.
It has a persistant world at the main menu, thus a MMO. Thats all you need to have to be a MMO, is a persistant world where everyone is in one room at the same time.

Its F2P, most likely won't be pay to win, and (personal preference) I find the graphics and art style of Firefall to be much better than the game you showed.
Edit: Guns are also customizable if you find other parts.
Hmm ill check it out when it comes out. And Project Blackout isnt meant to be high end graphics... its meant to run on all machines. It has the best hitboxes ive seen in a MMOFPS ever. Bout the same Hitboxes as Call of duty 4.
But yeah ill check Firefall out...
Havn't had much luck with f2p fps's and have pretty much wrote them all off, same with the racing genre, every single one is ruined by the cashshop. That video even shows me the cashshop for this game, and it's nothing BUT better guns!
So no thank you, the MMO FPS & Racing genre should be called "free to play and lose" since it's pointless to even play them for some simple fun as a free player.

sniper becomes game breaking when its on skilled hands. 2 a very high level compared to other pro players in games
project blackout is good, but imo 2 of the best mmofps so far are Alliance of Valiant Arms (A.V.A) and Genesis A.D, i found both a lot more fun, brutal, and faster paced than P. Blackout...... Firefall looks sick but i dont know when its releasing and i think its not gonna be f2p.... thats what i heard
You know I thought the same to, but as you see in the video im still pwning regardless. Plus, the cash shop items can be obtained by F2P players as well. You earn credits per game but can buy credits if you want as well. I dont like most F2P shooters as well, I normally do a ton of research to see if they suck or not.
i'd say Planetside is the current king..and thats not saying much at this point.
In its heyday PS was awesome,but now its hanging on by a thread.
There isnt much life in the MMOFPS genre at the time being,but there are a handful in the works.Planetside 2(which I hope is as good if not better than the 1st) Firefall,Tribes Universe...just a couple off the top of my head.
Ive tried GA, it was alright, but not the best.

Firefall is confirmed to be F2P and when it was first shown at PAX Prime it was said to be coming out at the end of 2011 (no exact date though).
Havnt tried planet side yet... ill have to check it out.
As for this though, I may make an exception, reminds me a lot of Borderlands, not only PvP focused so the cashshop won't have such an impact.
Its a Sharpshooter match aka snipers only. You have your normal pistol and knife to tho.
I wasnt impressed by Project Blackout.
I much prefer A.V.A. and Genesis A.D.
Firefall looks awesome.

Ill have to look more into AVA and Genesis AD... ive seen vids but havnt played em yet. I played many of the fail MMOFPS aka Battlefield Play 4 Free, Crossfire, and a couple others not worth mentioning.
A.V.A. is my favorite F2P FPS besides S4 which i forgot to mention. S4 is a really cool game if you like anime. Its a manga style fps.

oh also Micro Volts is really fun F2P mmofps, its cartoony cos everyone is a toy (like toy story?) hehehe but is violent and fun to spend some time, check some vids on youtube
Haha iight ill be sure to check that out as well... I need many games to fill that 5 hour video up to keep people entertained while they wait for the code words to send to me to get CD keys haha.

It looks decent but im not a huge fan of scifi games unless its halo haha.
