you are totaly right ..... if you are a graphic-whore who care more about graphics then about gameplay, because as far as gameplay goes, this trailer doesnt show anything

You know Bioware makes other games then MMO's, right?
Clearly because Morrowind (Bloodmoon, Tribunal) and Oblivion (Knights of the Nine, etc) were CLEARLY horrible games full of ludicrous gameplay that could be beaten in under 5 hours right?

Well, as I said in the other thread that had this trailer, I played Morrowind for over 2 years (and am dabbling with it now) and I'm "still" playing Oblivion.
I have no doubt, given how I absolutely love those games that this will be amazing.
As far as bioware/bethesda?
I love bioware's games, am playing through Dragon Age one more time and will buy Dragonage II.
But if given the choice, Elder Scroll's all the way.

first of all, that previous games are good doesnt mean that next one will be too, there are tons of examples for that out there
second, as far as gameplay goes, i prefer more or less any bioware game over any eldar scroll game (it is true tho, that more i know about DA2, the less i am excited.
I like how this trailer shows a lot of features they were talking about in the podcast.
I notice most of you think this trailer is just fluff let me explain what its showing that it does a good job of.
Dragons, 3rd person view being revamped, action cutscenes for attacks (the throat slitting near the middle there)
They used their best designers and formed a group to just work on dragons for two years, and it shows. I can't wait to see what the AI can do in game. Graphis look very updated and the waterfalls look VASTLY more realistic.
Can't wait.
The decieved trailer is ten times better than this one.

Going by Bethesda's track record, I would be extremely surprised if Skyrim failed to deliver some amazing gameplay.
Elder Scrolls over DA:O? Absolutely. I'm not even going to buy DA2.
But, this doesn't come out until Nov/Dec, right? Not sure how that makes Bioware weep. DA2 comes out in 2 weeks.
I have no doubts that it will be good. The only part i dispute is that Bioware somehow is going to be crying or something. That part i simply don't see happening. Not with 3 major releases coming this year.
I will enjoy all the games as i always do.

Amazing as anything else may have been, I could not get past seeing hands on the screen like I was back in the 90's...maybe the 80's even?
The pew pew with the wand (perhaps a staff) just made me laugh...
...really do not get what the trailer had to do with BioWare 0 and Bethesda 1000 though.

It looks good and I like the Morrowind series, but they way OP is pitting Bioware vs Bethesda is kinda sad. I agree it looks pretty, but so does Aion.

also if you don't consider the normal glitchs, problem on performance, lame history, and games too damn easy even on the hardest lvl maybe bethesda can be better then bioware,
at least bioware games never give me any problem, other then do the EA way of do bussiness
Well to be fair they are two differnet kinds of games... Where Skyrim will be an RPG , DA will be an Action/Story console mess..

DA:O wasn't an MMO. Neither were any of their games that came before. So far as I recall (I could be wrong) SWTOR is the ONLY MMO Bioware has ever made. I think game companies can be competitive even ACROSS genre lines, for that matter. There are times that single player games vastly outsell MMOs, so....I'm not sure genre lines prevent the competitive nature of the business.

You are absolutely right, it doesn' tmean that it will be good.
but From what I've seen of the elderscrolls' series and how they have been evolving them, I can't imagine they will change the thrust of what these games are about.
They are into making large open worlds where players can do what they want. That in and of itself is a plus.
Couple that with their new radiant AI, the game director that monitors and feeds the player content and a track record of making great games (though there is a schism between some morrowind players and some oblivion players) and I am confident that this will be a great experience.

Im bethesda fan, but i liked also bioware games but this last DA2 is so terible and crap.
Im not realy intrested anymore in bioware they are console craptastic gamemakers now with big boss EA breathing down there neck saying make games that earn us billiosn dont care if its console mass market bullshit games as long it makes $$$ ok bioware:P.
Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.

It would be pointless to say that Skyrim won't be good, but why would that make BioWare cry exactly? DA2 and ME3 will likely do just as well. Just because this game is good doesn't mean BioWare is even in the least bit worried that it has... well.. any bearing on how well their games do.
And last time I checked their name was Bethesda... just saying..
