WoW is fail? Yup they are a complete failure. 11+ million players, millions of players playing for years. 6 years of success and more to come. Yup WoW is a failure!

    Seriously.

As anyone who has played can attest to, the game is very polished and relatively bug free, so instead of spending the last month or two of development chasing down fires they've instead been able to focus on new, post-launch content.

It's totally un-heard of in the MMO industry, I know, but that is STRAIGHT out of the dev's mouths.

    /thread

    That's the real answer. Seriously.

It doesn't matter how fast they come out with new content, there will be people who blow through it the day it comes out. Then they will come to the forums and piss and moan about how there isn't enough. This has been going on for ages. The actual problem is those people who think that the game is some kind of race. They are doing it wrong, and should probably be playing a single player game. They are wretched beings, and should be pitied for their lack of meaningful existence.

He's full of it, yes your right, WoW is a phenomenon, even now. No one comes close to their success in the Western market and probably never will.

I fail to see how adding new content soon after release makes it a shallow game? Surely it can only be a good thing?

Also, ALL mmo's try to cater to "the masses", every single one ever made, always have, always will.

Expresso gave me a Hearthstone beta key.....I'm so happy :)

The game is made for the casuals who spend 1-2 hours a day playing. If you are one of those people who spend 24/7 on the pc you'll be bored after a month.

No matter how "crazy" you think it is or how mad you  get about it, there will always be people with opinions that differ from your own.  Don't let it bother you.  Just enjoy the game or games that YOU enjoy and leave them to their own games and shenanigans.  It doesn't do a wit of good to get flustered about it or to argue about it.

Not to be mean, but have you played a single day of WoW to understand what you are talking about? Heroic emblem system was introduced because the mass cried for years that the top 1% was making the other 99% feel like crap.

Aion did not release content and everyone in NA/EU saw how that ended. Sorry, but Trion is not going to listen to you and NA/EU wants end game. It is literally all they care about and Trion is not stupid.

A few corrections.  Rift currently has:

    1. 10 Expert Dungeons divided into two tiers.

    2.  2 Overland Raid bosses

    Can you explain more please?

    3.  Not sure how many total Rift Raids.

    4.  One Raid Dungeon  with 5 bosses.  A second, third and fourth raid dungoen schedulded to be released in 30 day increments starting in April.

If this is true then whoa, talk about content overloading.

The 2 raid bosses are the one in Stillmoor and Shimmersand.  They changed the name he used to be called Alsbeth in Alpha but now its different.  There is a quest for him with a one week cooldown that rewards Purple pants the first time you kill him.  They are both very easy and not near as difficult as the bosses in Greenscale.
