The OPs statement is about the addition of the addition of the second content expansion pack only 2 months into release - that is indeed something I consider "awesome" in my MMORPGs.
To the other posters making notes about a world event was too soon, will be re-used, etc; I disagree. The world event has something for everyone from low levels to the cap, which is a brilliant move. Sure the new dungeon and such is geared for higher level players, but even low level players can get new achievements and gear. I would love to see a new "twist" in the next content release, but am not even level 40 yet and still enjoying the core content. I think Trion has some great momentum, and if they can keep it up for a few months straight it will really open eyes on how dedicated they are to providing a world class MMORPG.
i do, i play vindictus and wow atm, and personally i just like them better. its my personal preference. But these threads trying to ram rift saying its the best and most innovative is a joke i think. And i wait for the holy grail because i have hope that a great game will come out and live up to my hopes and dreams! Is that so wrong

What are you referring to, exactly? I found the content update to be extremely light on any actual content. If they add that little, then of course they can do it every month. It's not exactly DAOC's Foundations or AC's Sudden Season. I guess its something, and while that is more than most MMOs offer, its not really much more.
I feel they seriously over-hyped it, and it would have been better recieved if they just surprised us with it. Sure, its more than I'd have expected, if they hadn't gone on about how awesome it would be.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
