I agree, thats a fair statement. I guess what I wanted to say is just that, we are in a better position to judge these games then the general public to judge music.

Great game, but with allot of flaws. More so then any other game i have played before. Our server (Blackrock) crashes every night, we have lagg spikes every 1 hour or so, and when you crash or LD theres a 300-1000 Person queue to get back onto the server... That normally takes 30 to 60min+.
Not to mention all the PvP inbalances and even just their pioritys just show how little they know what their doing. Why would they nerf Druid/Preist's sooth when theres just so many other things out there that they could fix other then little trivial 'bugs'. Not to mention that, with all the lagg issues, class isssues, crashes and server instabilities they have put just about all of their coding teams onto making the Battle Grounds' and not fixing what they should be. Who wants to PvP when Horde are out numbered 200% on every server. Who wants to PvP when your all lagginglike cap. Who wants to PvP when theres not even a reward system in place. Who wants to PvP when their class system is totaly stuffed up and theres hardly any skill needed. I know i dont.

This seems to be a common misconception where people compare their tastes on gaming with their views on polotics. It's not a good comparison, probably even worse on who makes a good bad and what makes a good MMORPG.
Bottom line for my side of the tracks is that EQ2 didn't deliver, at least not in the departments I was looking for. It wasn't that fun and the community wasn't any better than your average MMO. WoW may not have the best community out there, but it does have that really important thing called "fun". It is enjoyable and nonstop, not creating a situation where you have to camp the same room for a half hour for one key. I maid my choice for WoW and I have no regrets.
For the record, I also voted for Kerry, and I live in a blue state, if any of that makes much of a difference.
the cancellation of wish had absolutely 0 to do with how good the game was, it was a completely financial decision. the amount of staff that they would have needed full time because of their extensive 1 world for up to 100k people at once was too high for their believed prospects.
