I can already see deja vu on the forums with jedi players thinking they should be able to pawn everyone in game getting upset when a Bounty Hunter sticks a knife in them for the death blow. That will most likely be the first round of nerf calls. ;)

Not too bad. But a few notes.

    - shooting from inside a force field... should't that be, well, suicide? I am the only one who has REALLY funny scenes in his mind at this point? XD

    {mod edit}

    - It's a bit cheated to the killer sequences; I highly doubt all these mobs, esp. the big one, are dead so quickly.

maybe it's a one way forcefield? Dunno

agreed, some of the armor i don't care for. Starting armor in most games look like crap IMO.

I'm pretty sure the video was edited so it would look "cooler" and so it wouldn't slow the pacing down.  Think of it as more of a trailer then the actual video.

Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.

Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.

Yeah, it's just like with the GW2 videos, don't expect the skills to be uber as they look in the videos.

As for the armor looks, no problem with them, the only remaining wish (and that will remain, I think) I have is that BH's and some other classes stop looking like the local population of the fitness centre, or that they should stop training there and using steroids. Oh well, I read somewhere that there are several body types to choose from, I hope that'll offer a solution.

    - Armour looks ok, but some starter stuff still has this Star-Trekkish Payama look, like painted on the skin. I guess that's as it will be, but I still wish clothing was more spacious and not like skin paint. A buddy of mine who was lucky to get a beta key, rolled a Sith at start, and BOY we were both laughing when we saw our future uber Sith in Payamas... Thats just SO NOT cool.

    1. i do agree it seems odd however(this is purely me spitballing a theory) would something such as an engery shield be able to be attuned to repel energy from one direction or something like that?  don't know much about about how something like an energy shield would work so just a thought i had.

    2. yea never been a fan of alot of the starting gear they show in those vids

    3. yea they are likely either mobs toned down, gm power lvl characters, or scenes cut up to reduce vid time

Ah nice, I lost the link for that one and couldn't find it anymore, thanks. Pretty cool encounters too, with all the grouped mobs, taking cover behind objects, etc

Looking forward to play a really fat Sith Warrior.

Yeah that's a turn off for me as well, I don't want to look like a wras'tler' I've been hoping I'd hear they have other options in body types, because all the smugglers look like they have anorexia.

I think there are 3 to 4 body types...

This is the only progression video I haven't been impressed with.  The entire video had the BH out in the open just shooting.... For real???  I thought the BH was all about tactics.  The only tactics I saw was a shield and he hovered in the air against ranged opponents, great.  If one didn't do their research they'd think the BH was just a carbon copy of the Trooper.

Happened in the movies so no, it's not suicide as far as the Star Wars universe is concerned.

I've liked all the progression videos so far, heck I loved the Sith Inquisitor one, but something about the BH one seemed a little off to me.  I can't put my figure on it other than to say it looked a little stilted.
