Ban a year long player, pop-game icon and major contributor to the gaming community after hosting a massive player event in a supposedly massive multipler player online RPG, because your engine is pretty much the same crap as 6 years ago despite the millions of profits and still cant handle just +3,5k player in a zone, leading to crashes and the even went out of his hands after the first unintentional crash.
Only in Koticks WoW.
Only in Koticks WoW.
People can hate his vids all they want but lol at the apologist trying to defend Bliizard for that of pure fail reaction.
You understand that he did this "event" purely to crash a server right? Even on his video feed, he was laughing and telling everyone what his intentions were.
When he realised a Gm was around dc'ing people for it, he was spamming on his feed that a GM was there and for people to just say it was a normal event.
The more you know huh. But i guess youre one of those people that hear something, then bullshit everone around you because you want to be part of something.

Somehow i'm not surprised at learning this.
Who would have thought that someone would try and better their position in their side of the story?
He seems to be a guy that genuinely did not try to cause a crash. Sad to have this happen but I believe it is said in the beginning of the mail that he got un-banned. Good for him.

That is NOT what the video shows. It clearly says that they are NOT going to try and crash the server so whatever conclusion you are drawing is not supported by the video. If you have any other sources then please post them.
"Swiftys a devoted game tester, testing games that are on closed betas and usually always testing and experimenting to find ways to excel in any game. Today, he makes tutorial videos with the strategies and secrets he finds in the games, releases them in videos that he posts on YouTube (www.youtube.com/johnsju). His goal? To help others become better at games through his tutorial videos. He gets great satisfaction when he gets feedback from players who have had great success in games as a result."

If Blizzard want to ban people and lose revenue that's their choice. And loss.
