in Star Wars: The Old Republic

Here is  screenshots of the Gamestop screen sections before it went down, apparently someone thought it would go away quick (30 mins ago).

    I totally believe its set to cost $150.  They know it would sell, even at that price.  I mean I wouldn't pay it but you know some people would without even thinking about it.

     Yeah so true, I mean Blizzard and ArenaNet do not even set their CE editions at $150. It seems you get more than your typical CE but it is still materialistic stuff you don't need to enjoy the game. I don't know, I love th Star Wars univerise but not sure I love it that much just to play. Standard editon should be good enough.

     True but you getting alot of other stuff.  7 in game items, CD's, Statue, maps.

    Lucas has been in my wallet a ton before this, and he is getting in it again.  It's like he's trying to be Smedley...... but i dont mind it.

    $150 seems a lot. Wonder if they will offer a light version without the statue. I heard of a digital version but I kinda wanted the other stuff and not too thrilled about waiting for a 40 gig download.

    Thats Malgus statue is the reason for the high price.

    If you go to the Gentle Giant website you  will see how expensive their products are. That Malgus statue would go for at least $75 at that site.

    I expect a CE edition that is cheaper or a Digital Deluxe version.

    Maybe eat half as much over a span of two months?   I agree that $150 for a video game is expensive.  I guess if they can sell out at that price good for them.

    I believe that will be the price and luckily can afford it. It will make it feel more like an actual CE. I am sure the digital CE will be cheaper and include the in game items.

    That statue is probably what's driving the price up.

    $150 is just too steep for desk ornaments in my opinion.

    Yea, the gentle giant figurine is the reason for the high cost.  They normally go for $60 by themselves.

    As one that can afford it I doubt I will pay that much for that.

    I'm mostly interested in items in pink, and $150 for thoses are kind of expansive.

    i'm sure most people do.  But ToR is the hot thing to complain about, so anything that isnt up to snuff is gonna draw the ire of the jaded MMO masses.

    what worries me seriously is if they are this greedy now how greedy will they be with the cash shop and the subscription.
