Just don't see the point in pre-ordering, I have always gotten a game soon as it was out if I wanted it. It will not be any different for this game if I decide to purchase it. As for the CE version, I just do not see the point of something that collects dust on a shelf somewhere.
Early access is meaningless. You will get a limited selection of servers, and you can just join a fresh new server as more are added at release time anyway. The new servers have less of a rush on them to lag them out. Same thing occurs with many mmos already out.
Talk about inflated prices. $80 for the digital deluxe version? Really? Now i know why they're removing their games from Steam. Looks like it's Guild Wars 2 for me.

I know. As much as I would like to play this game, these prices alone are enough to steer me away. I mean really.. If people spend 80 dollars on a digital download with no perks and 150 on a CE, then you can believe that will start to become the standard.
I don't want to contribute to something like that.
50-60 dollars for digatal download, maybe 80 dollars for the CE with all the perks. That is all it needs to be nothing more nothing less. Not like they aren't gonna get you every month with a 15 dollar subscription fee.
Most games I can buy and play whenever I want and not have to have a sub, unless of course it is an MMO. These people are gonna more than make their money back in the sub fee's , I think they are being a lil too greedy here for their own good.

The digital download comes with 5 items that only they and the CE get, fyi. The CE get an additonal 2 that no one else gets. If you are really anticipating playing this game a long time, it is probably worth 20 bucks for the 5 in game items. I haven't decided whether to go for it yet or not.
At the end of the day, who cares if they have 500 or 500,000. If they oversaturate the market, the price drastically drops. It's that fine balance between collectibility and the churn out. If they did make 500,000 of them that's $150x500,000 = 75,000,000. If they could make that, good for them. Most of the money made on development would be recouped. (gasp) Heaven forbid a company break even on an endevour as big as this.
I'm just upset I had to work today and the CE were all sold out.
So I got a digital deluxe, and I'll keep my eye open for A CE in the brick stores.
I mean. A hundred bucks isn't what it used to be. I can spend that in one night at the bar if the right chicks are there
Don't gots no moneys? Gets a jerb ya bum. Your jerb dont pay enough? Get a better job. Can't figure out how to get a better job? Get used to bitchin about being poor.
Have a sense of humor, no need to get ALL MODDY ! A Simpson's quote shouldn't be worth a warning. You are lucky anyone is bothering to read this rag.
There is NO "cheapest" pre-order... only the "Less Expensive"... and it's 55 euros (78.96 US) for the standard + 5 euros for the pre-order, for a grand total of 86.14 US

Aww, come on, you both are going to play SWTOR anyway in the end!
I didn't like the price either. *shrug*

While I agree that the DDE is too expensive, keep in mind that the CE has a statue that is expensive, similar ones sell for 60$ on the makers site.

The Digital Delux is 80 Euros (114.85 US)...
...i'm even afraid to think what would the price be for us Europeans wanting the Collector's Edition...
