Simple question. Which of the six SW movies did you like most and why? ^^

Empire, it always had the most memorable story. Probably because of the whole "I am your father" revelation.
Also, because it had Cliff Claven in it.
Hehe, yeah I think they are all cool in their own way. But my fav is Return of the Jedi.

ANH is my favorite since it's the first one I saw, but ESB is the best out of the series IMO.
Where is Ewoks: The Battle for Endor on this list? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAEV_sLEglI

Empire. That's where you got the sense that you were nothing compared to the empire and they were gonna hunt you down, Vader had a great feel in this movie. All hell broke loose for the main story good guys and they where left scratching here head what to do next. When your support system is broke down so much hat your hanging out in a small city in the clouds, you know your in trouble.
Empire was such a great movie. So many classic moments like the ad libbed "I know" and the huge reveal at the end. Such a good movie.
Its very difficult for me to not pick A New Hope. I don't think I ever blinked the entire time i sat in that cinema.. And l'll never forget that opening on the big screen scene... I was 12, give me a break
but...
Empire was a great movie, and i think i have to choose that one
First one...
Empire Strikes Back 100%
Most will say ep.5 because of the story but i say ep.4 where the magic all began.
Empire is still a great film. Definitely my favorite of the series.

I watched all 6 of them last weekend, They blow me away every time. If I had to pick one I would go for Revenge of the Sith.
By the end of all 6 I was gagging for SW:TOR. Can't wait.
Empire. This was Solo's Movie. He was the missing element in the prequels. A mortal, flawed protagonist we could all relate to. All hope lost, self sacrafice, self doubt, further exposure into the motications of Vader. Really top notch flick.
If you rewatch EP 4 and listen to Mark Hammil whine about being left out of a trip to get Power Conveters, you can draw see the Skywalker whine is shared by Hayden in both Eps 2 and 3..
Ah..Cliff Claven. Always on the spot with a bit of info. He's probably the one that told Han Solo that Tauntauns make great sleeping bags.
Thats true. The Prequels missed a Han Solo type of character.

Empire. Hands down the best Star Wars movie ever. The most interesting plot and character development, plus the twist at the end, how can you go wrong? Besides, C3PO gets blown up, Lando betrays his only good friend, Han gets frozen in Carbonite and Luke gets his hand cut off fighting his father, Darth Vader! What more do you need???? lol
Oh, yeah, can't forget Yoda and Boba Fett!
You want me to pay to play a game I already paid for???
Be afraid.....The dragons are HERE!
I'll agree the magic began in Episode 4, but it was perfected in Episode 5!
Well, I voted "A new Hope".
Reason being?
Because nothing, and I mean NOTHING at the time came close to it. Nothing.
It was extremely ground breaking.
You see, at the time, most sci-/fantasy "what have you" was either poorly made B movies, old flash gordon episodes, Great Harryhausen films but even though they were "cool" they used stop motion animation that after a while was like a road sign indicating "stop motion animation ahead".
Take a look at all the films pre star wars and they just don't get to the level of special effects.
I mean, my brother and I literally jumped out of our couch when the first Star Wars television promo played and ran screaming to our mother.
We never imagined that these types of images were possible in what, at the time, seemed to be the most realistic way possible.
Most space sagas appeared as though the ships were on strings or the scenes took place in the cheesiest spaces.
Even start trek, which I loved, had a home made feel to it.
And quite frankly, when I saw Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia I absolutely fell in love.

1. Empire - I remember my jaw dropping to the floor at Vaders revelation to Luke. I felt sick for a few days after. I'm such a geek.
2. Revenge of the Sith - great story and epic battles.
3. A New Hope - When Luke first ignited his fathers lightsaber - I knew it was going to be good.

... and a distant finish by
Return of the Jedi - Ewoks?!?11? George wth were you thinking? Also by the time episode 6 rolled around I was largely into chasing girls and driving fast cars. My geek meter was rather low.
A New Hope is probably more classic, but in the end I chose Return Of The Jedi, because it had some scenes in it that I enjoyed a lot: The pit monster, boba fett, the ewoks (what a sucker!) and I only recently found out how they did those jet-bikes through the forest scene: So clever and ingenius!
The first 3 truly are classic story telling. I have only seen the next one and some of the following one, they just don't have the classic structure and feeling of the orginal trilogy or even pace is the lacking thing?

Empire was by far my favorite as well. Revenge and New Hope were also pretty good.
Love the little reference they gave him in the card game I used to play.
In the text at the top it says: "At the Mos Eisley Cantina, everyone knows his name."
