They had their moments, episode 1 to 3, especially Revenge of the Sith and Attack of the Clones too. But they could have been so much better plot and dialogue wise. A shame, because the actors and actresses that were ingame were heavy calibre, most of which remained unused.
The ease with which predictions are made on these forums: Fratman: "I'm saying Spring 2012 at the earliest [for TOR release]. Anyone still clinging to 2011 is deluding themself at this point."

They had their moments, episode 1 to 3, especially Revenge of the Sith and Attack of the Clones too. But they could have been so much better plot and dialogue wise. A shame, because the actors and actresses that were ingame were heavy calibre, most of which remained unused.
Lucas' "spiral" started in RotJ when you really look at it now. It still had alot of things that were cool about classic Star Wars, but the action comedy (i.e. Han Solo's bumbling takes out Boba Fett) and WTF scenes with annoying characters (i.e. instead of Wookies fighting Stormtroopers, we get Ewoks?) started in RotJ. The Ewoks movie came afterwards. Then we get more of the same in the prequels (Jar Jar... /shudder).
Regarding the other actors / actresses with unused characters in the prequels, well that's a big problem. The minor characters in the prequels just weren't that memorable or cool. I mean, we have Boba Fett from the OT have a big, rabid fanbase despite him being onscreen for not even 5 minutes in the entire movie franchise. Then you had Wedge Antilles, the only pilot to fly both Death Star attacks and actually survive (even Luke can't claim that). On and on. Grand Moff Tarkin, though only in 1 movie, had a very dominating presence. I mean, he had Darth Vader on a leash!

From the old 3 I like The Empire Strikes Back the most. And from the recent movies, Revenge of the Sith. I really dont like Anakin Skywalker's constant whining though. It is his fault that I never will roll a Sith

I'm sorry but they were utter crap.
The only reason they could be percieved enjoyable is because you like Scifi and Star Wars in particular.
Watch the Plinkett reviews on them and you will be astounded how BAD they actually are.
EVERY scene, hell every ten seconds screen time there is an error or something wrong.
Dialogs, actions, plot, etc. etc. it all makes NO sense at all.
When i was a kid I was a massive fan of jedi, but now as im a lot older I agree with the majority that Empire is by far the best out there... I think all the origion fils are amazing..
As for the new ones, im not a hater and did enjoy watching them esp the combat, the stories where not that bad but they where nothing compared to the origionals.. still good in their own rights..
