I think we are probably going to see a more solid if not an actual release date after the september stress test thing ends, if that goes well they will most likely give a solid release date. Until then they don't want to give a date then have something go wrong for whatever reason during the september event and have to change it again.
The only reason why they won't give us a release date is because of competitors. It's all a marketing scheme to ensure the best possible sales outcome (i.e. they wouldn't want their game released the same week as, for example, the new Elder Scrolls game, etc).
So basically, at the end of the day. With the 5th pillar done and all, its basically a PvP/Raid gear grind?
essentially, that and crafting. Looks like its the same model that WoW is using with a few quirks making it more appealing. I completely agree that and the subscription are the two reasons i don't play Rift. If these companies want my money they will have to adopt the Lotro F2P model to remain competative after the first few months of launching im sure their numbers will begin to dwindle as every companies have since the beginning of this economic nightmare. It's just a fact, F2P models make more money.
