Well to form an opinion, you would have to have the launch build to even have all the info. Until we have a release date and launch build, it will continue to be tested and is only a beta build. So NDA is just stating the obvious. The game is being tested and changing based on feedback.
You go into Beta testing like this when you think your game is ready for launch. I think what happened is they were dumb and tried to use the Beta wekends for marketing and it completely back fired in their faces.
By the time the second Beta rolled around on Rift the NDA was gone. There was review after review of every aspect of the game and you could form extremely solid opinions on the game. I just hope they do not screw this up and ruin what could be much needed competition into this market.
I don't think so, I was actually there on the 1st weekend. But there is a big difference between Rift and TOR. Rift needed the hype to sell the game. TOR doesn't need any more hype. They just want to have the best possible launch. Because it can make or break any game regardless of budget.
I believe, and it is just an opinion, that the devs want the feedback and will change the game based on that feedback. They have said this in the past. That no matter what the devs think about their game, the testers will be right and the devs will be wrong. So they will change the game based on this feedback. Most games don't do this. They believe in their game and launch. Then make changes post launch. I like BWs way.
How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder, without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better, and not the world about them? R.A.Salvatore
In all likelyhood it'll drop in Nov. I'm sure they'll release the game with a few bugs rather then wait until 2012 and since no one is getting to level 50 in 3-7 days they can always slap a release patch on it and...tada problem solved?

I wouldn't say no one. You know someone will hook up an IV and tie a bag to their ass and play 24/7 to be the first to 50.
