Im not complaining about it in that way, im complaining about the system and the attitude certain mods have in the way they treat customers.
I decided to be a arsehole back to him after he started being one to me. thats why i was saying stuff like why don't you realise your driving customers away and your actions represent the company and stuff like that.
I don't know what your upbringing is but when I was young it was never an excuse to be rude if someone else behaved badly to me. If I ever tried that excuse my dad would take the rotan to me. You cannot explain your behaviour by pointing to his and you had more to lose than he did by the fact that this was your third infraction. Did that not occur to you while you were typing that stuff.
Next time think before you fly off the handle and it is so much easier to behave badly than to control oneself. Try that for an attitude lesson .
I was only rude in the manner i spoke to him, so i actually used swear words like are you fucking serious, you are such a inconsiderate person and being sarcastic towards his comments.
in this instance i think the mod did the right thing, theres a difference between posting concerns, and simply being rude and incosiderate, considering your previous posts prince im suprised you didnt get perma banned along time ago. I have ntohing agiasnt you but your psots have hardly ever been constructive. Ranting is a bannable offense on many forums and you was warned 2-3 times previously.
you knowing how important hte forums were to you and your guild you should have been more careful, especially since your supposed to be a guild master setting an example to your guild and rperesenting them, still thoguh theres irc you can use.
there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.
i just think 1 month is insane. also im the one who said he was being inconsiderate and being rude and i decided to do the same back to him, but by then he told me the discussion was over, so i tried to get a response out of him and that was the log.
After reading the OP, I wouldn't have just banned you for a month I'd have banned your forum and game account permanently and probably used your credit card information to find where you lived and sent you some flowers as a condoloence for being one of the most unreasonable and childish gamers in the history of the MMORPG genre.

The GM/CSM handled themself with professionalism and restraint.
They should be applauded for having the patience to deal with you for that long.
The mods are strict, but this is a well deserved ban I say.
Btw, i second closing this section of mmorpg or at least moderating it for once. The only thing that's ever posted in this secion are links to Mo's forums (or irc logs) by the same 2-3 people. It's a little ridiculous. It has to be considered spam at this point.
If I made threads like this about gw2, linking to every crticism that is posted around the web, I would have been banned by now.
the only issue i have is with the moderation. i think 1 month ban is extreme and the way the system is designed. this is like my first thread on something negative in here.
I don't mind people saying the mod was right, but he didn't ban me, he just the person you need to speak 2.
I never got banned for talking to him like that, I only got banned for saying the magic system is retarded that it doesn't allow you to block or dodge the magic.
i just posted the log to show my chat with the guy to show how inconsiderate they are, and i guess this log isnt really a good example but just shows me raging, but he drove me to the point of raging with how he spoke to me.
I wasn't refering to you specifically, but just look at the past threads in this section, its not hard to see what I mean. Pretty much every single thread (give or take a few) for the past year has been nothing but links to MO forums, or copy & paste of mo forum post/irc logs.

You failed completely to show us how he "spoke to you" , it is a horridly childish rant on your part and the Mod should be praised for what you took down in the logs.
If I were you I would delete anything pertaining to this post in an effort to save face.
I don't mind what people think of me, i just don't take notice, i just think he should not tell people stuff like "you given teh privallage to use the forum" when they are paying for a service, which forces customers to use it to communicate with others since the game itself doesn't have any means to send offline messages to players and there is no trade tools ingame.
The moderation sucks, but you do have some degree of freedom. If understand it correctly, you probably got pissed at some mage in pvp, made a rage thread with the title "magic is bullshit" with a one liner that said magic is retarded because you can't dodge, while having two previous infractions. This should be enough to get you banned because you broke the rules; it would have gotten you banned anywhere if you already had a bad history.
Than you continued to rage at the mod for 1 hour according to yourself, cursing at him, their policies, and calling them nazis...If i was him I would have stopped talking with you 5 seconds into the conversations. Yet he actually sat there and had this discussion?

I'm sure you had to agree to something when you registered, not their fault you didn't read it.
Just be thankful they didn't ban your game account, just your forum account.

lol i know, but you don't tell customers that....its like he trying to drive people off, actually many have when they post "i quit threads" which btw you get infracted and banned for now...your not allowed to post " I QUIT threads"
I spoke to him and he kept saying stop making excuses, etc etc, give me a reason to unban you and stuff like that, and i was ok......ok.....whats the point of even being able to appeal and stuff like that.
he just completely making statements and conclusions and what he says is right which i think that was wrong like how i was blaming ohers, and that its my own fault and now i get punished for it.

He talked to you for an hour according to you, trying to let you explain yourself and explain to you why you were banned. I'm reading the log, and liek many others, I think you acted very childish. He probably couldn't do anyhting because you broke the policies, very obviously. But he still had this conversation, thats what amazes me. Your "arguments" at him were barely evne coherent from what you posted. I thinkg his point was: that's the policy, and he has to follow it as well as you. Your acting like it's only mo's mods who do this. Discussion moderation or making one liner rage threads has never been allowed in any game's forums I've been too. I don't think it's even allowed on these forums.
Frankly, I don't see what MO even keeps their forum system open. Put in a trouble ticket system. Setup a basic forum where a player can ask for help and only a customer service rep can reply. Warn and lock on offensive posts. Ban after the third. If the players want a "community" site, have them fan operated. That way it's someone else's problem.
They take way more grief than I ever would.

EDIT: btw, I'm not intent on trolling or taking sides. It's just that from the way I see it, SV runs a business. The more time they waste on the forums is time not spent working on the game, which should be their main priority in the first place.
The people who run the forum don't have anything to do with the coding.
Infact, nobody has anything to do with the coding, forum or not. In the case of MO, forums, announcements and empty promises ARE the business.
Except in this case, given the evidence in the original post, the player was the one that was way out of line, and the mod acted professionally.
I think the mod did the right thing, and that the ban is certainly justified. Honestly, for people that habitually prove they cannot act responsibly, follow simple rules, or control themselves, to the extent they are repeat offenders, the ban should probably be permanent. Other paying members shouldn't be forced to put up with it.
