Getting into the StarWars beta is a little like winning the lottery theres thay many people trying to get in . lol . Rift was pretty good but it was a little like David and Goliath when it took on WoW and it was always unlikly to have a huge effect on Blizzards player base (althought it took a pretty good shot and was a contributing factor to the loss of around a million subs). In the biggest franchise ever star wars if its a good game you've got Galactus vs Goliath if wont just shove a slingshot at its head it has the potential to eat its whole world . Having said that we've all been here before and the mythical WoW killer remained a myth . Hard to tell which way it will go at the moment .Lets just say from what I've heard and read I've a good feeling about this .
All spelling and typographical errors are based soely on the fact that i just dont care. If you must point out my lack of atention to detail, please do it with a smile.
I was downloading the patches, but my faulty piece of junk power strip got bumped and I lost power.
Now when I try to get it going again I get Error messages telling me my Authentication ID cant be verified or something. It tells me to reinstall which Ive done three times. Had to write them an e-mail.
Signed up for Beta as soon aftter that creation as I could and still nothing from them. Even preordered collectors edition hoping it would give me a boos in the pool.. Bummer.. Starting to get the feeling it'll be an overhyped waste of money anyway. Hope I'm wrong, just have to wait and see.
I believe they stated that testing selection is either part of the guld testing program or random. No, I can't find the link for that atm.

You shouldn't be posting about this here.... And the said problem has been fixed a few minutes ago. Read the stickies in the testing forum for the solution, post in THEM and not here while you're at it.
I didn't get a invite I been registered for a good year got a CE pre-order and a normal pre order on a diff email.Not surprised I didn't get one but I will say if at some point I do not one I just will cancel my pre-orders like alot will I have been burned too many times in past with Age of Conan and countless others to just toss em over 200 usd on pre-orders and trust it wil not suck.
Havent been sure what I think of this game. But I guess I'll find out now first hand. Hope I can get a few bug reports in with the time I have with it.

Did it ever occur to you that there many who don't wish to be used to test bugs and server loads in a game driven by story, why do I want to experience any of the story before its released? Only the young and naive get excited about being used beta testing a game.

I think it's complete BS that those who have pre-ordered have not been automatically invited to the remaining tests.

when they fix the download problem most of us cant get it downloaded atm.
I got my invite, but keep getting a 'download unavailable' message. Guess I'll try tomorrow; no sense worrying before Friday.

I'm glad i didn't get an invite ... the temptation would be immense.
The last 3 mmo's i beta tested i cancelled the pre-order, so this time i don't want to ruin the story

i dont buy a game unless i beta test it or know someone who did now days. i hope to beta test the game it looks very entertaining.
