Two cowboys, a newcomer and an old-timer, are drinking beer in front of a saloon. Suddenly, there is a clatter of hooves, a great cloud of dust, and something moving extremely fast from one end of town to the other. The newcomer looks at the old-timer, but seeing no reaction, decides to let the matter drop. However, several minutes later, the same cloud of dust, accompanied by the clatter of hooves, rapidly proceeds in the other direction. Not being able to see what's behind the dust, and unable to contain his curiosity any longer, the newcomer asks:

That's the case with your point I think. It's not that people are avoiding it or have no solid arguments against it. It's just that none cares enough to respond to it, people got their reasons for still discussing MO, many of which been told lots of times in other threads. You made a suggestion of letting it go, people ignored it since they don't want to. What do you want, to stir up a 10 page long argument about whether it's right to still discuss this game or not?

I agree with the sentiment that some people do need to "just let it go". That being said, Omali is not one of the people digging for minutia to critique a long abandoned game.
Omali tends to strike a more neutral tone in his criticisms, He is also writing his own MMO news site http://mmofallout.com/about/ and posts similar news about other MMOs A change in community service manager is notable and not just "real-life actions" that "[have] hardly anything to do with the game".
Interesting note here is that there have been a whopping 37 posts in the "goodbye" thread on the official forums... after 3 days.
...just think about that for a few minutes and draw your own conclusions.

Honestly Slap, its interesting that that number (37) is so very close to the amount of people who show up for contest's and "events"- Hell, the last event drew only 39 people if my memory serves me well.
My conclusion is that there is probably less than 50 "die hard's" left in this game. Its not a "new" conclusion by any means but is just reinforced by the fact that less than 50 have bothered to respond to the Black Opal departure thread.
