     Meh.

I just don't see anything for me to get excited about personally, more of the same with a new coat of paint. I'm still not sure how I feel about the main selling point being VO'd time-sink cutscenes in a monthly subscription game either.

But that's besides the point, just not interested.

This pretty much sums it up for me as well.

Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...

    Went with awesome.

Got to spend about 11 hrs this weekend playing. Already have another invite for next phase, so gonna go with a rebel toon next time.

Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget.

So cut scenes in GW2 are all fine and dandy and the next best thing since frozen pizza, but for ToR it's a waste of time. Boy talk about a bunch of hypocrits

It is all right. You will get a lot of double talk from GW2 fans. I just shurg it off.

Huh? I find it funny that you're the only one to bring up GW2 (a game I have no interest in), but you assume any critiques must be because of that game *rolls eyes*

My SO finally got an invite for this weekend (after watching me play - yeah - so we break NDA :D)  All I can say is that now we're both in Beta!

Yay for the fact that there's another weekend upcoming!

Double yay - that we'll be playing live in a month!

    Yup.

Most beta testers i have met so far pretty much say the same. They all loving Swtor so far.

Two ton elephant, or is it two ton panda? :)

I believe SW TOR will do well.

I'll have to go with Meh~

It seems like a pretty solid game. It has decent graphics, looks very cinematic and will provide a fun leveling experience but nothing excites me about it and nothing about it screams "I'll have to play this as soon as it comes out". So I'll treat it like Rift, wait for the box price to drop significantly then play it for 2 or 3 months and move on. If it had just something that seemed exciting about it, more then just story (like the combat), then maybe I'd rate it higher.

When it releases, it will be the best MMO on the market. Of course that is my opinion.

rift beta was awesome, too. personally, the pvp experience in the rift beta lit my fire and had me GAGGING for the game. then it came out and everything had changed.

within just a few weeks you could tell the game was in trouble. all those things that were so awesome in the beta became same-same after a week or two. it's quite common for beta testers to get all hyped and then when the game is released start scratching their heads and wondering where that game went they'd been testing because THAT was awesome and unleashed.

once everyone spreads out through the game and learns their classes and finds those little imbalances and limitations, THAT's when you find out how good a game is.

Pre-ordered copies for the whole family. Cant wait for launch. I was pretty sure it would be epic, but now I am 100% sure.  Going to be huge , I dont even like to use my computer this month, I always end up looking at TOR stuff and it seems that much further away..

My opinion = Next gen of theme park mmos.  Near perfectly executed , wasnt expecting it to be THIS good. Well worth the wait in my opinion.

I am so sick of the tired played out medievil swords and sorcery theme, and it just so happens to be Star Wars on top a different setting.  Delicious.

Rift had alot more, this game is crap comments then swtor beta. I ve seen one guy in 3 days, say it s crap. swtor is far superior to rift in almost every facet. I saw rifts boredom within one day, of rift after rift after rift. swtor, feels more like an actually world to me.

I played for 16 hours yesterday and 3 more today. I'm ruined. SWTOR has made it so that I have no intrest in amy of the other games i play. I only want TOR.

The game really is awesome. I can't wait till head start!

It is. Comparing rift to ToR is about as weak a comparison as there is.  ToR stomps on rift in every way possible, and Its not like I hate rift or anything, I actually liked/like rift quite well.  Its just a fact if you ask me.

i agree with some of this....but stating it is far superior is stretching it IMO.

Considering that RIFT is one of the most successful MMOS of recent years and a very profitable venture for Trion i disagree with everything you just said.
