Thank god, that was getting annoying.

My latest character has had an arrow stuck in their hand for the last ten levels.

Well, it's a sandbox game so people can limit themselves if they want.

For instance I never use invisibility. same in Oblvion. it makes the game trivial as you say.

However, there are some people who might like the idea of being overpowered because they can become invisibility.

In any case, people can limit themselves on anything they want to make the game more enjoyable. Or use it if it makes the game more enjoyable.

Also, not everyone is in it for the challenge. Some are in it for the story elements. In any case, since some people think the game is hard and some think it's easy I suspect one's milage may vary depending on how they play.

I have been playing as a heavy armour, shield and sword warrior and tbh the difficulty is all over the place, sometimes you can chew through a whole army of creatures and mages, warriors and undead and dragons and your char would barely break a sweat, yet another time you can be faced with a single (non story boss) enemy thats almost impossible to defeat.

I mostly play as a 2 handed warrror and  I've also noticed the difficulty being all over the place. However, I also learned something while playing...

Sometimes changing to sword and board makes the difference. Sometimes using power attacks makes the difference. I've had enemies that were chewing me up but i would rush them, avoid their little icicle bolts and one power attack would cause them to stumble, second would force them down and the third would finish them. If I don't avoid their icicles then they chew me up.

I also learned another interesting thing: use the enviroment when you can.

I was fighting a vampire on my mage and it was just impossible. then I realized that a particular fire trap could be left "on". I lured it out, ran around and rushed through a gate which I quickly shut. It was left outside trying to avoid the trap and I could fire at it through the gate.

Using the large spike gate traps can also help if you lure them to your spot and set them off with a bow or just running over them quickly.

So we should be happy about constant crashes and questlines being broke?

Look, I enjoy the game but they need to fix those things.

I'm always betwen 30-60fps and i'm playing on Ultra with a few of the distance sliders down just a bit.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

Same Vid card, maybe everyone should buy one lol :)

580GTX here and same as those with no issue's so far and yes playing on ultra, but then again also been lucky with many MMORPG's where I saw so many people complaining about performance or other type of system issue's, yet didn't have those type of issue's.

But hey..... don't have 100+ hours in it .....yet, so who knows what might happen

There is still scaling in skyrim,  and scaling can be dependant on what you're doing and what your overall level is.   Leveling only combat skills you'll likely be ahead of the game,  but leveling slows down a lot post 30.

I play on master mode and have a very high level character,  I don't care how awesome your spec is,  when you face 3 dragr lords at one time in an enclosed space, it will be a challenge.   A single shout that knocks you down can be the death of you.

I don't care about bugs. My post was about pretty severe stability issues for many people: after you invested 100+ hours in a character, your savegames get pretty clogged up with all the changes that happened in the world, some of those changes, for some people, make the client very unstable on the pc. I read posts from people who CTD every 5 minutes or so, not odd cases either.

Don't get me wrong, it is a great game and I only crashed 3 times in the first week I played it or so (much better score than Oblivion), but stability is going down hard, the last few days.

I don't like how some quest items get stuck in your inventory after you complete the quest.  Right now, I got a flute, Drum, Lute, and Pelvis I can't get rid of.  Or getting stuck in walk when you talk to someone while holding shift.

A funny cartoon about the level scaling I found this evening, http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/comics/critical-miss/9245-Critical-Miss-Skyrim-Tales

    Currently playing:

EVE online (Ruining low sec one hotdrop at a time)

    Gravity Rush,
    Dishonoured: The Knife of Dunwall.

    (Waiting for) Metro: Last Light,
    Company of Heroes II.

That is poor tactics to let 3 grand soul type mobs get on top of you in close quarters when they have one shot kills.  At the very least, you should split them up.

You don't get to choose when or where they spawn.   On master mode level 50+ you get dragr lords in every battle where dragr usually are,  and in some areas, you do get 3, sometimes more.   Likewise with mages, trolls, etc.  I've fought 2 ancient dragons at the same time.   Its fun,  but challenging.

I've played around 200 hours now, and I still go to work every day,  cook dinner for my wife,  keep my workout schedule and I went shopping all last weekend starting thursday night until sunday afternoon.  Just because we spend people spend their time playing games instead of watching TV or rubbing their face on random peoples velvet jackets doesn't mean they have no life.

Thanks for the advice about textures, I'll try restarting next time.  And regarding another post further down about taking different approaches to mobs, that's what I love about this game.  Many times it's just problem solving.  I had this one undead boss I was having trouble with.  Finally I just ran around a pillar with him chasing me (must have looked comical) while occasionally popping out and shouting mark of death.  I wonder if it stacked, because after a couple shouts I was able to take him down.
