Same problem for me.  I'm on Anchorhead server.  It's "FULL".  I never see more than 5-6 people in any given area.  It's lame and makes the world seem empty.  Boring.

A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.

I've gotten to level 37 with my Guardian... the planets I go to quest on are lucky to have 6 people on them... which in my mind is terrible because it has been a week... I'd expect more people around my level.

I just wanted to voice a thought... it just doesn't feel right for a FULL server to be so quiet...

I think you played too much and out-leveled people imo....Start a alt, let more population catch up.

I do not see why having a bunch of people contesting your progression or just clogging up your screen is a good thing and something that qualifies as a benchmark of success.  If there is a problem with people finding groups, that is a legitimate complaint.  The game feeling dead is completely abstract and is strickly based on what you have grown accustomed to in the past few years.  Different is not always bad.

Obviously other people do matter... if this game were a single-player RPG... it would SUCK.  Compare this game to 2007's Mass Effect... LOLOLOLOL.

The reason we accept the many downgrades is BECAUSE we can play this with others... nobody wants to stand in line to kill mobs.. but is that our fault?  Shouldn't Bioware be able to design an MMO that allows a massively multiplayer experience AND is fun?  MMOs don't have to consist of waiting for respawns of X blinking things or Y mobs... that people with floating triangles above their heads told you to handle.

I would take SW:TOR over Mass Effect any day of the week and I loved that series.

On Veela I see pretty consistently over 100 people in every zone I go to. Im not sure what the deal is. Those numbers dont sound right if the server is full at that time. Maybe a bug?

It is tough to find people on my server at the later levels,  I have 2 characters,  one at level 35 and another at 15,  at any given time my level 35 rarely sees anyone, as they are all still leveling.  When I get on my level 15, its common to run into people on the same quest objectives,  and the only way I get them done is because of the instancing.

It would have been better for them to get rid of the archaic mob tagging system and just give anyone who assists in a kill (to at least some substantial degree) get credit for it.  then they could allow more people in an instance without the frustration.

Though, I haven't found any lack of grouping though.  On my level 35 I'm already at social rank 3.  image

There were already level 50's in the retail pre-order EGA before other retail pre-order players even got trickled into the EGA.

There was no reason for the servers to lag, there was literally no one on as far as they were concerned.

They could have raised the spawn rate on mobs and increase the respawn rate on quest items.

Nothing Massive Multiplayer about 20-60 people in a zone...

If there are only 20-60 people then their are no copies, that is just how many people are in the area.  Most of the zones I've been in have between 100-175 people.  The one exception to this has been the republic fleet, where there's usually only 20-40 people for whatever reason.

Will this is awkward... I play on a new server zen which has a standard load and I see people all the time... I think you're outlevelling your server then doing the same complaints all rush to maxers do. No people no content ect ect

Everything I say is my opinion or personal preference. You may or may not find it useful to your cause but regardless I am entitled to it.

Very small area, would be too cramped for 100 people...

However,  you can always choose where you want to go,  so if for some reason you want MORE people,  just choose a different instance.  Usually I move out of crowded areas if I can.

I think you will be seeing more people tomorrow as they are picking up their game, I know I will be getting my sw tomorrow as will many who ordered

I'm still wondering why the game has such a low ceiling before it starts creating instances. Look at WoW. If you go to the main cities they are jammed pack. (I haven't played WoW in a while so I might be off now.) Hell, around the AH there could be around 50-100 people.

Who remembers the day BC first arrived and everyone on the server was in front of the portal, ready to run in. ( PVP was awesome that day for sure. ) The servers for SWTOR should be better than WoWs old servers from several years ago.

Have you considered this being a early access/launch strategy?

I would expect to see a lot more people when i log in but with all that said its still a race to to quest objectives when im questing otherwise im standing around waiting for the damn objective to spawn or refresh.

Now for those who have played you know that the quest are streamlined in a world that usually is broken down into 4 smaller zones that scale in difficulty, each section has only about 8-10 quest....

I know it seems a bit empty or desolate on planets like tatoine but i couldnt imagine haveing 40+ people all aiming for the same 8-10 quest objectives in a small zone like coruscant's 1st zone. Im sure in time with more content they will raise the cap per zone or world but atm i dont have a problem with it.

wth are some of you talking about?

i have yet to experience any lag.. at all! i had one time where i crashed to desktop.. this includes both beta weekends.  this is wierd because my system is all that.. (it is, im just being modest), but i dont have any problems.

if you need a group for anything use the lfg function or try general chat.. it sucks that the world is instanced, but it helps with clusters of people fighting for the same mobs.

Also with the release of new servers and people who didnt preorder buying the game, or the people who will get it x-mas, im sure you will see more people than you want pretty soon.
