If you've got a good game, then you make advertisements say things about the game. And if you don't, then you have the advertisements show pretty women who have nothing to do with the game. Guess which category Crown Quest fits in.
No, I haven't played it. But this is one of those cases where I don't see any real need to play the game before making sweeping statements about it.
Fair enought but I don't think the quality of the game itself is the issue here. People react against what they see as an extremist view. If that ad is softporn then the OP has obviously never seen real softporn.

Always find this conversation interesting. You have no problem with adds for games showing gore and blood being spilled, endorsing all forms of violence. yet a slightly see through shirt and now your kids are no longer allowed on the site.... fascinating.
As a parent I have more of an issue letting my 7 year old see blood and acts of war or violence than I have with him seeing parts of that which is natural to us, especially if it is barely seen through layers of clothes. We see far worse in the mall, a restaurant or just walking through Walmart.
The priorites of our society, they way some have been programed, never cease to amaze and sadden me.
Im only commenting because it is a serious issue. Having said that, theres nothing sexually graphical in that add to the extent where one could say its softcore porn. It is a nipple yes, but nothing related to nudity or sexual related content.
You should had pm a Mod and explained your concerns to the mods of this site.
I can tell you in all honesty, i see no reason for any alarm, but if you do, you should restrain your kids from visiting this site.
Also let me remind you that there are many games being listed and reviewed here that have a "Teen" rating, and i can enumerate at least one with adult rating. So, and if you are concerned about the kind of content your kids may come across this site, you should not let them use it at all.
Seriously, you complain about this? I think you need to get a grip. Web sites cost money, and ads bring in money. I think hiding these kinds of images from your kids is a dis-service to them. There is nothing wrong with the human body, and the female human body is a very nice thing to watch. Seriously dude, it is not even all that realistic.

I understand sex sells, but I think the MMORPG.com staff owes it to their customers to limit these 'sex ads'. Video games are played by young people so having the old Ebony ads and these new AoC which seem to get raunchier and raunchier every time is just wrong.

I just have a hard time seeing how being visually exposed to the things beneath our clothes is somehow an awful thing, I saw some nudity at a young age and so did most of my friends of that time and pretty sure my current friends can say the same thing.
Instead of trying to hide things from your kids that they will be exposed to sooner or later why dont you just give guidance in regard to any questions they might have about such things.
Heh , it's like that ad they had a while ago for Age of Conan where the chick was topless but then put a banner F2P to cover her tits. Yea , it's pretty pathetic I know , the game is already a piece of crap and they think doing softcore porn will bring more players into the mix. Anyways , alot of games (funny how it's only F2P games) that uses softcore porn ads to push their games to the public.
Anyways , F2P devs know that their games are full of it (BS that is) and will try anything to attract players.
And yes I agree that MMORPG.com need to regulate their site against these kind of lame advertising , along with every other MMO site.
On a side note , Crown Quest , Travian , and every other piece of crap that ressembles it should be removed from the site. The games are full of scammers/hackers and mainly runned by RMT's. Freaking Fairy Land is more fun then these lame Travian look-a-like games.

I remember The Witcher 1, where i the original european/polish version the dryad was naked, not like nudemod-naked with modeles genitals or anything, just a pubic hair texture and nipples. But in the U.S. version they covered it with a loin cloth. Sooo funny =DUpon viewing various blown up versions of the pictures, I still cannot see any nipples at all. The picture doesn't even look sexual to me. It's no more sexual than a woman in a 2 piece bathing suit by a pool. The only thing "sexual" about it is that the woman is hot, and therefore I want to do sexual acts to her body. If you replace the woman with an ugly woman, but keep the same black mesh clothes and the position she's standing, the picture wouldn't be even remotely sexual in my opinion.
MMORPG should feel free to have ads with hot women just like this one. There is nothing sexual about this picture or pornographic. There is nothing about the picture that teenage children shouldn't be able to see. The ad is no worse than underwear or a bathsuit, and there is nothing sexual about the ad at all other than that the girl is hot. There is nothing wrong with a good looking woman. I am ashamed that the human race strives to be so intentionally sheltered.

S basically you want to have the sites that place these ads up to do your parenting for you,a nd to shelter yyour childern from the natural fact of life and nature. Get a clue of hwo to parent with explaining what they are seeing, or trully sheltering them from such thigns by blocking your childern from accessing such things in the first place. It is not the job of the rest of the world and companies to shelter or teach your chldern thigns, but it is your job to do it yourself. You had the time to ccreate the kid as such get off your lazy ass and parent them, over whining about these things showing up making your life harder. I have had to explain things to my childern, as well as block their access to things i deem unneeded to be seen by them many times, but i dealt with it in a manner befiting an adult. I do not allow my childern to meddle in religious or occult matters till they have come of an age they can make a informed choice on their own without feeling compled to make a choice that is going to make me or my wife happy; yet with this i merely taught my childrn what was needed and kept and eye on them to ensure they understood.

Unfortunately, given the flavor of replies you have been getting from this crowd, thus far, it is unlikely that anything will be done about this. Things like that are about a business' integrity and if MMORPG is failing at it then there is hardly enough people to remind them of it. All we can do is change websites we go to for our MMOs news.
Its the voice of reason, like lots of ppl said in previous posts, and i agree 100%, a large portion of Americans are most concerned about shilding their kids to what is natural to us as human beings, like having curiosity on the opposite sex or watching a half naked women, but wen it comes to blood and gore it's OK ? That simply makes no sense, thats why the world is the way it is due to some retarded points of view...making war and kill the hell out of each other is ok but sex is not...PLEASE !!!!

I mean 80% of our mmo have half naked women with huge breast and you wake up only now? And honestly i really don't mind about breast for my childs they all got them for few month, they know better than me at this point what it is about. If there is something that disturb me about my small kids its more the ultra violence in some games, and the movies i don't even want to talk about it. Every time i want to watch a movie i have to throw the entire family away, or i must hide somewhere in a remote room. Breast on a picture, are you serious? They are not even naked....
