Ok drama queen.  No server has a 3 hour que, mine is one of the busiest and its typically 20 minutes at most.  All popular MMO's do maintenance and their time for it is NOT primetime.  Maybe go outside or something, you clearly need to re-think your life priorities.

Yours is ONE of the buziest, ours is THE buziest...

We are on  'legion of lettows' THE most populated EU server, its one of the oldest servers &

DOES have 1hr - 3hr ques, (depending on time of day) although in the last week the average

time has dropped the ques are no more than 1hr 30min now which is still bad.

 

You are trying to give comparison by quoting your own server wait times, & yet you have no prior

experience of our server or any other FULL server, so i suggest you should try & put up with what

we have since pre order before commenting on something you have no knowledge or experience of.

Bioware placed me in a server where I dont get 3 hours queue, i get 6-7 hours, not joking here.

 

a 2200 queue is not fun

Your server has 'no population comparing with Tomb of Freedon Nadd (which is the highest pop server in EU btw)

The time consumption of maintenance is related to its frequency.

The plan with TOR is to do maintenance once a week, like Blizzard does, rather than once a day, like CCP does.  If you do maintenance once a week, it's going to be longer.  It's not uncommon that the WoW servers are down for maintenance for quite a few hours on Tuesdays as well, but it's only once per week (and in that case, it's from the morning to the early afternoon, East Coast US time (the largest pop time zone in the US) as well).  

Hopefully at some stage the EU folks will get a separate maintenance window, but I don't think you should all expect it to be from 2-5am CET, really.  Most of the time it's either during the day or at the beginning of the morning (not middle of the night) where the servers are located so that the server maintenance crew isn't being paid midnight shift wages in perpetuity.

With a once a week maintenance schedule, a better approach is ust getting used to not playing during the day on Tuesdays.  During a "normal" period (i.e., not during the holidays when lots of people are off work and school), this isn't really much of an issue in terms of the number of people it impacts, so the impact it is having today is unique.

Bioware recommended a server to your guild/you.  YOU/GUILD chose the server.  Bioware was perfectly clear that if you didn't like it you could create on a different server (whichever you preferred).

I know theres been about 3 or 4 servers since beta/pre-order that seem to be the busiest & the

biggest ques to match, but by looking at the server list of late all servers have showed as

'Standard' or 'Light'  there has only been 1 other server showing as 'Heavy' today with our server

classed as 'Very Heavy'

 

But if you are one of the few servers like mine i am sorry
