We have allready a post about the approach of the first month, and i was wondering about the numbers.
Are you going to resub or not?

this poll will be usless data which does not reflect all the players. It is simple to spam the pole to the answer you want it too.
I have to agree OP, this poll will be littered with faulty data because people who have no intention on subscribing to the game will vote...
As much as I don't like to reward an inferior MMO for their lack of a proper UI, multiple bugs, clunky movement and gameplay, ability lag linked to faulty syncing of the global cooldown and character animation, lack-luster community relations, and many other things, i'm bored of everything else and i've been waiting for this game for years. So, i'll tell my better judgement to go fuck itself as I trudge on in swtor and resub another month.
Their goal was to retain 17% of box sales as subs. I think they will meet that goal easily.

What he was saying is that people who don't even play the game will vote in the poll rendering any results meaningless.
Well you have to agree some will vote no just out of hate even though they never bought the game.
I voted no not because I hate the game because the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced for any product I have every bought or used. For me that is a sign to keep my money in my wallet at least until they get their act together which in my opinion is going to be a months and I'd rather not pay them during that period.

{mod edit} But back to the post. Anyone spending money on an IP just for the sake of an IP is ridiculous, however i do understand the need to find a game to tide you over until something better, thus the reason i am stuck with WoW until GW2 is out or the beta launches even tho it kills me.
So I take it that you complained about SWG as well?
If you think this game is in bad shape, I woud expect that you went Jihad when that game launched.
TOR is a fun game.....pity folks cant either enjoy it, or get on with their lives.

I voted yes since i went for the six month subscription plan. After that i dont know... The game is mediocre, but it gives me something to play for å while at least. I only have time to play 1-3 hrs a day so it will last me some time.
The next game i will be looking out for will be The secret world. Looking forward to play a game with three factions and skillbased.

I guess your opinion is the only one with merit. Don't think anyone asked or needs your "help" and can make their own decisions on what they spend their money on. I just wish this constant love/hate TOR threads would die down already and we can get some good info on upcoming games. Seems like 4 out of 5 threads is about TOR-can't find much else on here anymore.

A rushed, mediocre at best MMO with a shitty gameengine and lackluster gameplay. Maybe fun as a singleplayer, though i dont pay 15$ a month for those.
spent to much cash on hookers & blow and had to go with a "free" gameengine. /FAIL

I will keep my subscription. My higher character is lvl 32 so I still have at least 3 more months of ggame in front of me.

A lot of people on these forums don't really seem to have much imagination. You know if I hated a game and really wanted to troll it... I would never pose as a hater. I would come acrossed as the biggest fanboi ever for that game.
Then every single time someone was upset I would troll their thread and tell them they are a hater etc You know why? Because if they were actually a subscriber they would likely quit because they don't want to play a game with fanboi's like me.. that attack any issue with the "you hater" response. Eventually I could get enough people to quit and actually hurt the product I dislike.
Yet if I did that people who talk about "hate" posts would think I was one of them.. a buddy.. a defender of the game.
Then again maybe that's why the response to any issue is the "you hater" response... Or in this case a premise that people who vote no never bought the game.. and only those that vote yes bought the game. Oh and nobody voted yes that didn't buy the game of course.

TOR fans act like some of us have a vendetta. It really is not that, but more to do with the fact when I personally played the game after playing Rift for so long I seriously expected more. These guys can not sit on the excuse of ui is hard to make, or content takes a extremely long time to develop.
Trion has just simply proven alot of what devs are saying latey is just lying. Rift might not have that big feeling or alts that are fun to roll, but they are pretty good at fixing problems. I mean seriously here guys the ILUM exploits are still happening. It is Aion all over again where NCSoft took months to fix the problem.
Just stuff like them promising dual spec, but they can not even cap the respec cost until it is put in just heavily penalizes people for wanting to try new builds. This will only lead to people being forced into cookie cutters because they are too broke to try their own build. This is the scariest impact of this game because people just seem to be just fine with a mmorpg company removing choice in how you want to play.
To be fair, when a handful of posters never, ever miss an opportunity to demonstrate their ire on a few hourly basis, it tends to look like a vendetta.
