Well, actually they have forced people who don't like the game to pay for it (you know, the auto-sub fiasco), but that's beside the point. Your post makes absolutely no sense in regards to topic, so I'll just leave you to your confusion and hope for the best.

Improving the GUI and AI, and adding some economic tools, will be a definite boon to this game.  The critics have lambasted the game because these have been weaknesses, one would think these changes would be positive things....  Not here.

It doesn't matter what sv does, this website will have the same 3 to 4 people that bash on this game obsessively.

I think we need to point out that NOTHING has changed.  As of today the UI and AI etc are all the same.  At some undetermined time in the future SV claims they will be fixed.  Same story we have heard for about 2 years now.  Only difference is that this time they are calling it an expansion.  One would think that after all the previous instances where SV has promised revolutionary patches and changes that were never before seen in the MMO world, and then failed to deliver, that some fans would learn not to count promises as fact.  Not here.

We have not seen these changes yet, they are not in-game, 100% implemented, working as intended, free of gamebreaking bugs and exploits.

We don't even have an ETA. All we have is SV saying that this "expansion" will be totally awesome and revolutionary. They've said that many times before, about features that are either not implemented yet, or 50% implemented, with a huge amount of serious bugs and instabilities, dupes and exploits.

One would think this behaviour would lead to a certain scepticism... but not among fanboys.

The problem is you are expecting us to blindly just believe these things will all come to pass and not yet be enother dissapointment. For once.... regardless of SV's and Henriks track record.... this will be the one time SV delivers on all that is promised, this will be the one time where everything will work, this will be the one time this isn't just hype propaganda.

Yes.... these things would be a boon for the game, there is no question about that and you know it. The problem comes in when people ask themselves "Can and will SV deliver this time?".

So can and will SV deliver? Past experiences would say no.

And if they don't deliver you and others will simply be on here telling those complaining that SV is just an indie dev with a small team so cut them some slack, they can't compete with the big guys again.

Other random fans with user names that have been deleted will come in talking about how great the patch is regardless of how many problems it has and even if it is missing everything listed that would be in.

Others and including Theia will be here saying Henrik never promised any of those things and that people misunderstood his english.

We've done this I don't know how many times.

Everytime something big is planned you and others get on our case for not being excited or confident that SV can pull it off. They fail pull it off and then you guys come back saying things like "Well they never promised these things" or "They're a small team" or you'll have others come in saying how it's all wonderful even if an entire city has just been deleted killing many players and deleting all there items.

Man I'm getting tired of this infinite loop.

Tindrem looks awesome, but that screenshot really didn't do it justice.  I mean looking at Tindrem over the mountains near Fab, Tindrem looks much better.   The arena should be awesome when it's finally released.

Never trust a screenshot or a youtube video without a version stamp!

Just like how Town Control was going to be awesome "when it was released"?

I don't know how you believe that something is going to be awesome when past precedent tells you that it almost definitely won't be.

I love that the devs are hyping so much those updates as "extentions" which are always "revolutionary" and "MO 2.0 or MO3.0" while in fact they are just bits of what the game should be supposed to look like.

MO basically was released like 5% finished and everytime they add an extra 2 % of the game, they say its an extention.

I'm sorry but this game is just the worse scam ever. I feel sorry for the people paying, you're getting abused.

Also not one person working for MO said MO 2.0 or 3.0 - that's well.. rubbish.

Yeah, except for your own CEO calling previous patches for MO 2.0. Get your facts straight:

[23:17] <@HenrikNystrom>; epic patch is getting closer, we just want it to work well, and of course to live up to most expectation

[23:17] <@HenrikNystrom>; As, there is indeed major differences

[23:19] <@HenrikNystrom>; if you wont notice a diff, then I dont know hehe..

[23:19] <@HenrikNystrom>; We are talking Mortal Online 2

Yet another easilly proven falsehood.  Henrick said it himself.. AND confirmed it when someone asked if he really meant it.   This was in regards to the "Epic" patch about a year ago.

Please do some research on your own company...

I see someone has linked the quote... here is the followup question and answer where Henrick CONFIRMS his comment:

[23:27] <[BRB]Mojoz> henrik don't make hype you won't be able to live upto, claiming its going to be "Mortal Online 2" is a massive statement to make o.O

[23:28] <@HenrikNystrom>; Mojoz, hehe I stand by that sentence

    Expansions, raff, E X P A N S I O N S .. what's an extention?  Hair repair?  Needed? Not industry speak is it?

Not very professional to pick on someones language as a representative for SV, specially considering that your own CEO doesn't know the difference between dyeing and dying.

Yeah, it's really embarrasing, to be honest.

Free advice for Theia: as an official representative of a company, refrain from getting personal with people, refrain from insulting or ridiculing them, refrain from emotional responses.

If you can't handle that amount of professionalism, just don't post here as an official representative at all.

Btw, for those of you who are still waiting for their veteran award.. which is still a typical SV euphemism anyway: It seems like they simply don't know anymore who bought the boxed version!

    http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/70948-veteran-thread-gone.html

They didn't find that information neccessary to store. It looks like a case of "We got the money, we don't have the boxes anyway, so let's just delete the file with the orders." They were obviously planning to never compensate the customer for their losses. Isn't this the definition of willful fraud?

    Classy.

I'm really waiting for the last act of this spectacle. Personally I think someone should sue them just for the hilarity. Someone who bought the boxed version. Someone with a legal expenses insurance. :D
