You're not banned. As someone said, they most likely have a system where if they see a player that reached "X" amount of credits in "Y" amount of time, they investigate. I'm sure they will open your account back. Is it fair to you? No, and I'm sorry for that, but hear them out first, maybe they will compensate. I'M HOPING thats the case. Good luck!
This. It's a new game for Bioware, they are not yet totally confident in the way they can keep control over economical balance (especially since they just nerfed some professions for these exact balance reasons).
You just made an exceptional share, and it raised an alarm. No big deal, you'll recover your account in no time with all your money.

For the sake of the op I hope you are correct and they reward him for his trouble if he is cleared of the charges.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
E.A Sports, if its in the game, its in the game right? I watched them murder SWG Pre-NGE, and will never play another E.A game! Its all about profit and selling boxes, they don't care about you or your time, just your money! If hardcore gamers get an edge, they will make sure you lose it. They'd rather have 1000 casual gamers cash, than one hardcore player's cash. You bein'so overpowered and rich makes causal players turn their accounts off and quit...its all about profit!!!! Sucks that Lucas Arts choose them...
Euhm... you mean Sony right? xD
Yeah it was Sony, not E.A., doh!! Anyways, Verant Interactice Inc developed the game, Sony ended up controlling it and destroying it...same that EA will do with this BioWare game!
Verent Interactive was a subgroup of 989 Studios which was wholey owned by SOE from the get go. SOE was always in control of EQ from day one.
good people like you ruin the economy, driving the prices to insane amounts
No, game design (which can be adjusted) ruin economies of games.

Wow, never heard someone getting banned for making too much money, unless they got it through some exploit which is not the case for you.
But then again, what do you need all that money for anyway? Or are you just doing it because you are bored?
Please Yamota, are you one of the BW team investigating this issue? Or are just talking crap? How do you know this is not the case for him? Ohh yeah, he said so and you dislike mmo's, SWTOR, EA etc :P
Because I was taking him for his word, I dont immediately assume that he was lying. Question is, why do you keep assuming the player base has some hidden agenda?
Wasn't there a thread about a week ago by some guy claiming the exact same thing and then someone linked a thread to the SWTOR forums where EA BioWare replied to that thread stating that they showed no where in their records of his account ever being banned.
No offense, but I smell yet another Troll trying to deface the SWTOR threat with bogus claims of being banned for stupid reasons. I'm not saying you're lying, but honestly dude, a very similar thread existed a week ago and was PROVEN to be BS by EA BioWare.
OR, hear me out now, or it was all a lie from BW saying that they never banned his account and they actually did. Unless one of us works there, takes pics on a spy phone and shows evidence either way then we can never be 100% certain. If op is telling the truth then i would be mad even getting a short term ban because they could investigate his account without blocking his ability to play. like he is really gonna say "well thanks for unblocking my account after 1 week and finding me innocent guys, i totally don't mind the lost time and not getting a free week of play refunded because i loves me some ToR and will chalk it up as a lesson to slow my capitalist practices! ". i'd be so angered that i'd unsub instantaneously regardless of the verdict. but then that's me and i overreact. if op is LYING, then lol he just trolled us all. if op is telling the truth and then bioware officially announces publically that he is lying and we take their word over his without question then i feel sorry for all of us. and if he is lying and bioware makes a public official announcement that he is lying and they are telling the truth then we can forget about this just like we did the other guy!!!
You know, in some games there are AH mods that help you to do this exact same kind of activity. Wonder if such a mod if ever made available for ToR would result in the b& hammer.

Some people love to play virtual economies. I normally like your posts but is the stuff in red a serious question? LOL
It is, because I am kind of curious what you need money for when you are at cap in this game? I mean the best gear he should be getting from raiding and/or PvP and there is no housing or such so what would you need all that money for?
Not really relevant for his ban which I think most would agree is absurd, but like I said just curious.
Some people just like to play economies in games. Who knows what it is? Maybe they simply are the personality type that wants more - more money IRL, more sex IRL, more shoes, clothes IRL etc and that translates into virtual relaities as well.
Maybe it's their thing... they're not successful/interested in PvP but they are successful in playing mathematical gambles in the Auction House.
Maybe they do it because it's riskier and harder to do in real life. Not everyone can play the stock market and make millions. MMOs allow a vicarious experience to simulate that reality.
I don't play the AH like some people, but there definitely is a rush to opening your mailbox full of gold knowing that your stuff sold. There's a certain satisfaction in knowing that I am sitting on X amount of money even if I don't ever need it. There's a certain thrill in undercutting someone and outselling them. Or finding a good deal and "ripping off" somebody else by selling it at a higher price.
Basic human nature I guess. Games like EVE are built on these concepts of economy. It's a different sort of PvP.
The problem is that if he is legit, that kind of market manipulation is bad for business for the entire server. It creates huge inflation making the market unaffordable for the majority of the population. This is precisely the kind of shenanigans that go on on Wall Street and look at the messes they get into all the time and look at the current, record levels of income disparity, greater than has ever existed in the history of man.

If this is true bioware is doing a huge mistake not good at all

more to the story, I am sure there is
Locking the thread as it is going in circles, and the OP was a sockpuppet account.
