I was not bored listening to you. Good review, well spoken, you sound lively, didn't seem contrived (like a certain other reviewer I've seen).
You talked about the quest reward window closing and opening whenever the next time may be. If you look on the top right side of your UI you'll see a flashing text which says "x Pending". That's your quest reward window you can open at any time you'd like.
Seems like an honest review based on your own personal opinion.
Your voice is enjoyable and you are objective most of the time. I still think this game is a major letdown, i havent played it and i wont play it at all if Bio doesnt work to change it around, but it is too soon to call for a review on this game. I would challenge you to repeat this review in a month or two by the time and if Bio ever decides to fix SWTOR by extending leveling curve and revamp the entire game design and mechanics.
funny because similar reviews have come out in text form and got bashed to hell for saying the exact same things.. yet video reviews no one comes to defend... kinda wish they didn't create this forum though people don't usually go to anything but the general forum so sure lots missed this

I think this may be because he's backing up his points, visually, with clips of the game. It's harder to blindly refute someone as "trolling" when they present evidence in a legitimately persuasive fashion.
That was the single best video review I have heard to date and mirrors my feelings about the game. Just awesome. This needs stickied. This is the review potential players should see so they know right from the get go what to expect. Thank you for posting it.
Oh and he gets a Dancing Hammie Award for his review!

As of right now from what we see in the next few months, the players will be getting a small extended quest chain with a flash point, a new warzone, and they're puting in the legacy system that was left out at launch. Unfortunately I don't see how long it'll be until they extend the level curve, but at the rate that the games going I doubt it's any time soon.
I myself personally agree with most of the Review. It is clear however that the reviewer has not played all the way through yet nor has played most of the classes. Meaning he hasn't felt the repetitiveness nor has he seen how broken some of the mechanics are for the other classes.
The problem here for me is that i was expecting too much from SWTOR. I am not the kind of guy to be bashing a game when im not even playing it, but i found myself to be playing all the major launches in the last 6 years and i was ran over everytime by all of them. When SWTOR got launched and the first reviews started to drop, the words "traditional mmo design" just got control of me.
I have no doubt that this can turn out to be a very good game. Bio is a good developer with a solid team, but they failed to measure correctly the mmorpg genre state. They must act fast if they do intend to save this game, or they will be risking the same fate as AoC/ WAR...both solid games now but incomplete at the time of their launches, and now lacking player base because there are no 2nd chances anymore in this genre. You do it right at the time of the launch or you are risking losing the player base while devs work to bring it all around.
I enjoyed the first 30-40 levels as i was ignoring all the glaring flaws. Once i knocked myself back into coherence, i realized it was not something i would pay for monthly.

Op, not sure if you realize this but as a point of note, if your quest reward window vanishes you can go to he upper right and you will see blinking text that indicates how many you have pending. Just click that and they will reappear. It's sort of ridiculous that they vanish but you can get them back.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
My name is Fadedbomb, I've been a forumgoer on this site for quite some time. I am probably one of the MOST critical of SWTOR due to the lack of innovation that the MMO genre is sorely lacking due to WoW's "market success" causing publishers to try to copy it over and over, and SWTOR simply is no better.
HOWEVER, with that being said this is, in my opinion, the BEST Non-Paid (or bribed) review I've seen of SWTOR to DATE.
A Sticky is required, and I honestly feel like this is the ONLY review that can be trusted out there so far. If you're looking for the BEST review to give to your friends, or to simply inform yourself, you should watch or link this video. From my experience, it seems EVERY other site, including this one, has been paid off for their reviews of SWTOR, or simply did NOT wait for the "Honeymoon" period to end before reviewing SWTOR.

Well, review's and opinions are like you know what. I love the game and give his score an F.

This was a great review - very honest and fair in both the PRO's and CON's that are stated.
BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.
Very good review indeed.
This is the stuff that should be featured on the mainpage -instead of the recent swtor crap videos there.
I will now check out some of your other clips.
Thanks for the effort!
agree the video reviews on the mainpage here have been horrible

I will also look forward to this - but before that, The Secret World.
BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.
Well done.
No need to say much more than that.

Serph toze kindly has started a walk-through. https://youtu.be/UIelCK-lldo
That was a good audio quality and well articulated review, I think I just might subscribe for that reason alone.
Thanks to everyone for their comments so far! And thanks to the people who noted my oversight of the quest window - somehow I missed that.

A good opinion piece, I didn't agree with everything but it was well done and worth the watch.
