no its cause its just considerd unfinished, imagine it took them this long to just add in aa, and from what people are saying, there is something wrong with the game codex, is why its not running smooth with peoples pc, not to mention they have a few quest bugg, that people are having problems, look on swtor forum, there is lots of post about em, also the ui system is retarded, although they showed in the video what they are going to do with the new ui system, they shouldn't even have to include that in a patch, it shouldve been in the game first time it came out, also what about the green light you get in alderon wz, i can list alot more dude. it is just an unfinished product wether you like it or not. look at ffxiv they admitted their false and now is recovering very well from their mistakes.
What you're missing about FFXIV is that they failed because they adamantly refused to listen to testers, and released a game with no hardware mouse support, among other egregious omissions.
Now, Bioware mightn't have been the best at listening to their testers but they were a long way from the "ignore them, they know not of what they speak" attitude that SE had, and the game is far from as bad as FFXIV was. You should maybe pick another example.
FFXIV tanked, and it tanked hard. They had to stop charging for it to get people to keep playing. SWTOR has 1.7 million subs, and yes, it does have issues, but nowhere like the kind of issues that FFXIV had.
I tested both, I only bought one, and I'm still playing the one I bought.
As for CS, wouldn't know. I've never had to contact them. I send through bug reports, but haven't had to ticket them. I've heard some pretty terrible stories though.

either way ffxiv is doing alot better then it was before, and that is because they did listen to customers, and that is 1 of the reasons why they went f2p, and now is back to p2p. swtor same thing it's an unfinished product, and btw it's only a matter of time untill they loose that 1.7 million subbed, there are people who are unsubbing as we speak because of this bs they put us through. also i have tried everything you could think of to improve my game performance. which doesnt change the fact of the question, why do i even have to do this to imrpove game performance when this is literally the only game that is giving me issues. if your not having trouble with the game kool, i really do wish you the best and i hope it continues for you, but for people like me and many others who is suffering this issue, and also the customer service they provide well you will see more and more unsubbed players. also if you haven't noticed the servers use to be heavy all the time, now its mostly standard, and it will continue to go down, it's only a matter of time. the sad part is i wish the game would be really successful but, the way they roling things i don't know if it's possible for them. they either have to get their head out their asses and really do something to imrpove the game, and also imrpove customer service or that 1.7mill will just be like what happend in many other mmos that had a successful launch then turned out to be shit in the end. like i said i love the game but no longer gonna put with their bad buggy game/customer service, untill they fix it. i hope they do if not gw2 is gonna be out this yr lol
Lol anytime someone has issues they claim to have a monster pc.
16GB RAM
X2 nVidia GTX 580?
ONE GTX 580 can tear any game apart and you own two? Lol thats so idiotic (WHICH IS WHY I THINK UR FULL OF CRAP)
Yeah and I guess the thousands of people that posted DXdiags in the FPS issues thread at the official forum got in there with notepad to make there systems look better too.

Lol its VERY easy to edit a DXDIAG before you post it. What I am saying is that even outside of SWTOR people say " Oh I have 16gb RAM and 2 GTX 280 cards with an i7 core this is crap!!!"
It happens ALL THE TIME. The beauty of the internet is that people can be jackasses and lie. They utilize their ability to do that quite often.
Looking good guys. We need about 11 more people doing the "ZOMG wall of text!!!" thing (or "cool" variant of it), instead of actually reading the post, and I think we can call this a successful thread.
One, that was really funny.
Two, OP, I feel your frustration. I didn't spend $3,000 on a custom built, over-clocked gaming computer to be told by some drone that my computer was the problem. Not when I was runing 150FPS in Alderaan and 10FPS in a warzone...
Also, ullike 'the stories are so cool' crowd, being older and very well read... I couldn't stand the obviously palagerized/trope-filled/MacGuffin filled stories. I don't mind MacGuffins, plagerizing and tropes... That's what fiction often is...
And I certainly wasn't expecting Dune, or Lord of Light, or The Star Fox, or the Left Hand of Darkeness... But the putrid execution of the stories... They were so badly written.
I mean, sure there were moments. The smuggler when going from Taris to Tattooine... That mandatroy Level 24ish encounter was great. I laughed my butt off... But ONE high-point in a tedious, MacGuffin-filled, knock-off story wasn't worth the pain of the rest of the story... And the Smuggler story was quite possibly the best of the Republic... Though the Knight had a couple of good moments (and a few incredibly stupid ones toward the end (note to future Star Wars writers -- DO NOT BLOW UP PLANETS, IT'S BEEN DONE and it is STUPID...))

The true beauty of the internet is how anonymous people can attack other people's honesty without conscience . Showing their true, inner self.
Well after playing almost 2 month of the game, I finally had it.
I have an i7 processor with 16 gigs of ram, 2 gtx 580 sli, and I still get fps problems. Not all the maps of swtor, but certain compact places, like wz, and illum omg lol. I kept wondering if it was my pc, but from what I see from this forum it isn’t my pc at all.
There is also a problem with alderan wz where sometimes the bike doesn't appear, and I even tried resetting my UI. Still no go. My fps in illum would drop to like 15-20 fps and it’s bad when we have big group fights.
The thing is, I have played Tera online, and Blade and Soul (Private server). I can assure you I can play the game at full settings with no issue at all from having 40-50 man PvP raids. See, I could live with this problem, Bioware, but what topped it off for me was when you guys replied in customer service, “It’s not our game it’s your pc”. I mean seriously now, you don't only see me posting but many more people posting the same problems, and you have the nerve to say it’s my pc.
I love the game. I really do. The PvE is amazing and the PvP is fun, but the way you guys handle things, ignore people on forums, and still continue to say to this day that "it’s not our system, it’s yours" - well it shows how you guys really handle things. Also what is worse is, with in-game support, you would think at since you guys messed up the game so badly, that you would at least have good in-game support, but you guys can't even provide that.
For example (this is not my fault btw), I bought a champion PvP weapon and it clearly showed the item was main hand weapon. I remember it too that I didn’t make a mistake because I made sure that the 2 PvP weapons I wanted was the only one showing. Well guess what happened? When I bought the item, it somehow registered as an off-hand, when it clearly states it is main hand. I’m a Sith Juggernaut. What am I going to do with an off-hand weapon? The Champion/Battlemaster bag is already irritating to get, and what’ more irritating is the loot drop it gives.
Anyways I was so excited when you guys replied with the protocol droid saying list the item you need replaced, name of server, name of toon etc... but then leaving me hanging with the ticket opened for about 3 and a half weeks, is just crazy. I still have no response to this day, and it clearly shows again that you (Bioware) don’t care about the customers.
I know this probably doesn't mean anything to you guys, but I am speaking for the rest of the people,
WHO ARE GOING THROUGH PROBLEMS IN THE GAME, AND FOR FUTURE PLAYERS WHO WANT TO JOIN SWTOR.
There is no point on going through this painful experience with Bioware. To sell an unfinished product to customers is just not fair at all. An example of unfinished product is FFXIV, but at least FFXIV made a U-Turn and actually fixed the problems.
Now from what I hear they are doing very good, and are releasing 1 of the biggest patches people are looking forward to. The difference is FFXIV customer service responds to the community. When they say they will do something, they do it.
Anyways for the players who are still experiencing problems in-game, and for future, gamers who are looking into SWTOR, that don’t know much about how the game is, don’t be fooled. Read this post, and if it isn’t convincing enough, read other post, save your 60-120 bucks plus monthly and really think about what your about to do lol.
I really thought I could stay with Bioware, and play through SWTOR’s problems, but jeez, at least provide us with better customer service. You guys already messed up the game, give us something.
Anyways GL to all who are playing the game, and to people who are playing the game with no problem, I really hope it continues for you guys. Just wanted to share what I posted to SWTOR Bioware. Sorry my English writing isn’t my strongest suit lol, so don’t judge it feel free to leave comments

i really do think they need to give this a new score, and change it to unfinished product.
why? Because there are a baffling array of equipment and software variations to take into account in the PC market?

Btw, I've got no performance issues, but I know people that do, and they benefitted from trying the stuff in this post on Darth Hater: http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/19909-general-performance-issues-and-solutions#c16
