So , without talking about details that I don't understand, with all the westernisation of the game client going on, Bluehole somehow messed up the NA/EU client, is that the problem?
And then server problems on top of that right?
So it's both Bluehole and Frogster failure, am I reading that right?
the backend is the problem, the client is fine. In the end we should not blame anyone, atleast it is happening now and not at the release.
5 minutes have passed and I'm still waiting for the greatest experience of my life to begin. Or were those 5 minutes of anticipation the greatest experience of my life? Probably not, the experience I had playing games was usually better than the experience I had while playing the waiting game. :
Knowing what the problem is about is far away from knowing how long it takes to solve it. This is not baking or vacuum cleaning. This is about software development and if you have never done it don't talk like you know how it works.

First of all I hate Electronic Arts. They cripple good developer studios since decades. My favourite studio was Bullfrog. Someone else would mention Maxis, Westwood, Origin, Mythic whatever. I still try to be fair with Bioware.
Second this game is not even closed beta in western world but already released in Asia. So I guess it is not just because of translation. Third my example with currency was showing that PC MMOs are a beast. There might be some minor bugs which can kill a game. As I said we might be spoiled by Trion and Bioware, but to release an MMO without many instances is always a challenge... I guess.
I still don't know why you brought TOR into a Tera thread. or EA for that matter. Anyway.... I had to do this. It was a quest.

I doubt we will have anything today to be honest.
Quote me where i did.
You did say that "they don't want to tell us" right after you said "they don't know themselves". You do know that you contradicted yourself in the same post? Either they do know and they don't want to tell us or they don't know. My bet is on "they are clueless".
I'm not here to flame, just explaning that devs can be ignorant and there is no need to be arrogant about it.
No fate but what we make, so make me a ham sandwich please.

Pretty much every mmo for the last 3 yrs was more enjoyable as an anticipated experience than the reality when it arrived, at least for me, 'cept Rift, as I had no expectations, so was actually able to simply enjoy it. Maybe that's the key, don't ever look forward to mmos again...so are we all agreed on that? No more hyping ourselves up.
('cept for GW2, obviously that will be perfect)
Hopefully I will see some of you tommorow in game, back to WoW right now I guess (as usual), *sigh* I bet NC "we eat babies" Soft is laughing there evil asses off.

Translated NCSoft response to TERA's Sneak Peek event:
- We create decision stop courting you. Much problems have own TERA this moment.
Poor Euro's. It's almost bedtime for them and they didn't get to play.
On the other hand..Less of them trying to log in and they might fix it tonight so some of us can get on.
*giggle*
You made an enemy of every European this night...no more pizza, sausages, fine wine and fish and chips for you... (and whatever Greeks and Spanish people make).

Same happened to me. I forgot it Rift just because of the news I had. I only played it until level 20, then the traditional gameplay hit me.
The same thing I think about TERA. I don´t have it on my screen. All I hope is playing it with a gamepad while lying on a couch.

Well, Barca - Real Sociedad is starting so I wouldn't play Tera even if it's up now lol, see ya all tomorrow, hopefully in game.
I care about your gaming 'problems' and teenage anxieties, just not today.

My hobbies are
No point in trying to log. I've been logged , I saw server list but you can't connect to server so it is waste of time tryi g to log in tbh..

Just cheking every so often to see if there's any change.
Also, my time to waste
Ok, that is it for me tonight. I will try again tomorrow.
Even if the game actually went live right now 1 hour is not enough, lets hope they fixed things up in the morning.
Kill some time watching what coulda woulda shoulda, tonight.
Warning: it's a Popori-only play session, do not click if you are allergic to Popori.
TotalBiscuit paid a visit to the Frogster studios and this () is the video of his session there.
They mentioned adding time but not today so probably tommorow or on monday.
Go natt!

By then the Sneak peek on Saturday is over, and we get to wait 15 more hours. Yay!
Frogstar sucks so bad why cant everyone start a beta smuff like Trion.

This is the Euro-over-mind signing off.
I... want... my...TERA

The pigeon has gone psycho, it is time for him to enter the Japanese fighterplanes!
Some music while waiting.
