There's plenty of asian MMO's doing asian stuff all asian-y for you everywhere else
In Tyria, fighting with your hands get's them shot off by a rifle. Some guy going all 'kung fu' does not fit the setting. Plus, how many armies in history have ever been composed by guys that are BARE handed?

I'd love to see a martial artist type of class in a mmo.. I've been pining for it ever since the D&D monks... That'd be cool to see in a future expansion, as long as its not panda-themed.
Considering a while back they said there will be a press beta event followed by further events which include non-press users but did not add any dates, I would suggest they will announce the first "open closed beta" to start the first weekend of March.

With the recent release date being announced for other MMO's, I wont be suprised if its a release date announcement.

Look at it even the numbers would be fine this way.
Gw12 in the year 2022 would be awesome delivering 1 races and 7 other as sperate DLCs at release.
GW7 would be known as GW5 but with real money Itemshop.
GW11 would be the first game without content at release just relying on DLCs.
(It´s always fun bashing EA and tbh they deserve any bashing i can deliver)
