If they can fix Illum and make it fun then that could fix a lot of the complaints...

As for people bored because the game is to much like WOW, well that's just the way it is and nothing is going to change now... If people feel that way they need to move on to another game and not camp the forums complaining about it by creating new posts about it every day.

I enjoy Bioware games, Mass Effect and Dragon Age games i played through multiple times so rolling alts on SWTOR is part of the fun for me....  If it's not your thing then move on...

Is this a joke? Those aren't the only two things people are complaining about. If you think it is then clearly you aren't spending much tome either here or other forums.

...or talking to a bunch in game. Far as people bored becaue it is like WoW. Yeah, they're out there too, but I really don't have a lot of sympathy for those. It was pretty clear what they were modeling this game after. They only mention WoW in like every other video I saw them discussing things.

As for the alts. Acme and Just covered it well. Frankly I agree with them and others that feel that way.

As for the rest? I'm not going to bother if you obviously can't be bothered to either look for yourself or you simply ignore them. You aren't the only one tired of making the same points or bringing up the same issues. Although I fail to see how you could be since you apparently are unaware of most of them.

...and we're still saying people at 50 rushed to get there. Really? This tired excuse is getting really weak at this point. It isn't like the game launched last week.

    1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

    2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

It really makes me sad. But I'm determined to get the story goodness out of the game, so....I'm going to continue as long as I can.  I never planned to play "endgame" in this game, so at least I'm not disappointed by that. lol

It tends to get worse or I suppose I should say more noticeable the higher in levels you get outside a few bright spots. Really seems to start to wear on you in the 40s. At least for me and most I have encountered.

I honestly have no desire to roll an alt. Although to be fair I did reroll once already due to my first server being so low in population it was bordering on insanity to stay there.

I'm surprised no one brought up how horrible the 4-man party size is as well.

Finding groups is a pain in the ass when you only assign 2 dps per tank.

They may have fixed some of the things in PvP and I am glad they did...but they didn't fix the big exploits in time. Folks coming up to the 50s are going to find (where there ARE populations of active 50s) that they die a lot.  Alot more than lower lvl pvp matchs because those active 50s already there are frequently geared in the really tip top stuff. They have been PVPIng (and some cases exploiting) for more than a month (in some cases 2).

I like the game but it isn't (as someone stated) a place where I can hang my hat. I wanted the same thing. Disappointed but such is life.

I have no idea how they're managing. Most that I talked to said they simply gave up and just solo. Pretty frustrated group there. I mean I have my problems too in forming groups but since I'm a healer I have a it a lot better then it appears most of them are doing. I always feel bad for them when we only have one slot left. Normally I don't give a damn but seeing how it appears to be in this game that usually means they'll end up writing it off if they aren't fortunate enough to get in the few times the offer becomes available. Especially if your server population is really low.

oh i dunno how about that and invisible walls keeping you in rails and out of areas they haven't finished yet, not to mention the million other things that are not finished in the game that completely kills immersion. And then there's the other 1000 bugs and performance issues that are so not only the people who have low end pcs that have been pointed out on many a video on youtube by players and even to this day.

Let me know when this is a feature complete mmo will yeah? I don't want to experience what i experienced with STO ever again.

Some how missed that thread Itgrowls. I am amused that really the IP does apparently sum up the experience many are having. Btw people in the thread talking about load times. My system, which is two years old in April does have load screen issues. Top of the line system? Nah but a good system I think.

     1. Overclocked Intel Core i7 930 (3.36Ghz.) cpu.

     2. 12 gigs of ram.

     3. 1.5TB Western Digital hard drive.

     4.  MSI Radeon HD 6970 Lightning video card. 2gigs (over clocked by MSI)

First logging into the game from the character screen takes upwards of two in a half minutes. Load screens from taking lifts etc do take quite long upwards of 30 seconds. So those are indeed real issues, my sons system much older (my prevous system) has similiar issues. He's going to get this system in a few months when I upgrade again. Next system I think will have liquid cooled dual  AMD HD 7970s with 3 gigs of ram on them. (I start drooling when I think about that), Plus I'm sold on solid state drives now as well so thats a must.

One thing I do hope is that Bioware learns from this error and either does a lot of code work re-writing or if they decide to do another mmo-rpg in the future that they learn from this serious error.

Edit: Waiting a few months for all the support for the newer PCIe gen 3 that the 7900 series of video cards use. The motherboards etc. These cards rock on what they can do and while using less power then the previous 6900 series. Read the Guru3d.com reviews. Amazing stuff. :)
