People feel the need to gloat, probably, because no one has the personal strength to stand up and say 'ok, we got it wrong this time, what you guys tried to tell u was 100% right, sorry for dismissing you as 'haters', lesson learned for next time'.

Instead they remove sigs or just fade away for a month or two, pretending it never happend.

If your gonna argue a point vehemently for months on end and time proves you wrong, expect gloaters.

I think that being a gracious "winner" would be a more healthy approach for all involved.

Or maybe they are enjoying the game. I know I am.  Although I am also enjoying the threads on GW2 right now as well. I can already feel the hate on there.

BioWare is still awesome. EA is just... not so much. EA isn't bad either, they just took away what made BioWare great.

DLC on launch day? Was the DLC ready or not ready? If it was ready, why not release it with game? Oh, so it wasn't ready? We are now purchasing unfinished products? I see... it was ready, but not quite ready?

It will never end. People expect this dream gamet that will swept them away. This forum has became something just for entertaining only. The quality is about the same as trashy reality show most of the time lol

The difference is, I suspect, between you and me is that I don't mind other people not liking what I like.

I don't mind the 'hate', I like what I see of GW2 and that's enough, and I certainly am not offended on any level. The 'hate' dosen't make me reconsider anything about the game or my taste... it's just popcorn TBH :)

(BTW, you could be considered gloating about the 'hate' posts you see about GW2, so I guess the river flows both ways)

nice pun, sadly untrue of the general situation though. so yes, there is a certain entitlement to the 'i told you so' kind of thing, SW;TOR wasnt a WoW killer, VO's didnt thrill, and the game is definitely not going from strength to strength..

so can the last one to leave please remember to turn out the lights image

but is there a trend here, EA owns Bioware, so EA presumably gets the blame for SW;TOR's problems? so does that mean, as Arenanet is wholly owned by NCSoft that if GW2 tanks as badly, that its NCSofts that is to blame? image

No understand what you were saying just fine.... especially when you are obnoxious enough to claim that 'we were 100% right'.  Maybe expecting some kidn of apology from those are enjoying the game?

Untrue ? There are people still playing the game and enjoy it. So it is not untrue. As in "genera", you will need to have a number besides forum posts. I don't have the numbers for how many players visit forums and I will not claim I know the "truth".

Nope, SWTOR is not WoW killer and I did not expect it to be since I play both still. Voice over still works well for me and I still love it even though I have 4 Republic characters. Personally, they are addressing bugs that relate to me and I am glad about it.

So, I agree with the picture he posted.

Nope, you think you do, but you don't.

and nice to go with the personal insults so early :)

I don't personally expect anything. My simple point is that if you argue a point with insults and venom for months on end and are proved wrong then have the dignity to stand up and say 'I was wrong' instead of slipping awayin to the shadows. A little humility cuts off a lot of gloating.

And to those who are enjoying the game and wearing their banners and support for SWTOR loud and proud, fantastic, i am sincerely glad they like it and are having fun. I am obviously not talking about them at all in what I am saying (proving to me that you didn't in fact understand).

I don't remember Bioware ever claiming to be a WOW killer, some fools on here may have, but not Bioware.   Entitlement for I told you so? For what? I and many others still enjoy the game regardless of what the doom and gloomers say, if some are no longer enjoying the game and quit, more power to them and I hope they find a game they enjoy.

I gave up on Bioware while playing DA:O.  Felt it was a little too story driven and dont get me started on the DLC.  Give me Skyrim anyday.

No one knows why they took the signature off. Assumption is never good. That is all I can say since I dont see banners and signatures more than once. I block those pictures since most of them are useless and just annoying to look at LOL

Since you seem offended  i would say 'extremely unpleasant' instead of obnoxious..is that ok? people find anything insulting these days.

I believe they claimed it was a WoW clone.  Maybe not as blunt as that, but more or less it was pattered after WoW, since doing an MMO any other way, is basically dumb.  pretty sorry stance if you ask me.

I have just re-explained what I was saying and where I am coming from, just re-read it because I am not sure how I can be clearer. If you don't get it by now, then lets just forget it and move on.

Just calling me names repeatedly isn't going to make me want to explain anything to you any further, so I am just gonna tune you out now if that's ok.

Obnoxious means something unpleasant..it is not calling you a 'name' by the way. It just means i find your statements like 'we were 100% right and they were all wrong' very unpleasant.

And no you still haven't explained what you meant 'they have been proven wrong'. Wrong about what exactly? that they are enjoying the wrong game and they should come back and say sorry for trusting in Bioware and having fun?
